Korn to split-up?

Korn have announced that they are to go on "hiatus" fuelling speculation that the nu-metal heroes are going to split-up much like pop punkers Blink 182 did in February 2005.

"We've been going 15 years and we need to just chill out for a while," says frontman Jonathan Davis. "We just need to recharge our batteries and get hungry again."

However, there is light at the end of the tunnel because the band insist they will reconvene and begin writing for material for the follow-up to 2007's Untitled at some point next year.

Nooooooo that sucks donkey arse, Korn are an amazing band. why's it always the good bands that go on hiatus first blink 182 then the red hot chili peppers (i think) now Korn. i'm so gutted.

O my god this is BS! This is old news for korn fans! we knew they were goin on a break! they all have solo projects at the moment! Anyone who is on kornspace kenw this already! itss been said in many an interview by Jonathon since the festival period! blah blah blah
kerrang have slated korn the last few years you go through equal bashing and ass licking!

If kerrang wernt so crap and werent so behind with the times... They announced they were having a break nearly 3 months ago. They are not splitting up. They already have a record producer lined up to produce the next album. Every band needs a break once in a while. Blink 182 just wernt as big so they didnt come back.

J.D & Munky are both doin' side projects so leave them.
They just need to find inspiration for the new album

They have been through lots together, 2 members leaving and a near compleate break up.
Yet there still together
And they have worked so hard this last year, they deserve a long break,
Let them spend some time with the family!

Lets face it, when a new album does come out

To be honest , Korn faded out when See You on The Other Side came out, the only good song on that album was Coming Undone, that sounded like Korn back in the 90's.

But the rest didn't, i know that nothing can replace the utter genius that is Blind.
