If you read my comments properly you'll realise emo is a genre of music completely different to what you are calling emo and it doesn't have a dress code. The bands you call pop-punk are only pop-rock because punk is completely different in it's sense of purpose and ethics. Hardcore i'm gonna assume you mean screamo and not hardcore punk, again this because of the punk section can't be decided and stereotyped via image because a big part oif being punk is being yourself.

There are very few bands i dont like, for example Nickelback. This CD has NO Lostprophets, NO Muse, NO Foo Fighters, and NO Mettalica.
Like i said before the only good bands on this album are The Blackout and Funeral For a Friend.
I will say i rate Machine Head, A7X and 30 Seconds to Mars but you've chose the worst songs. I mean The Kill. I will know go wash my eyes out with soap because i'm so digusted with this album.
Not a bad track list at all if you ask me, could use some Avenged though if you ask me, they Did win an award after all, at least put a single City of Evil song on there? :/
However, I still like it, everyone else that's QQing stfu haters.

The problem with this CD is that it's been thought up by a load of corporate bullshit twats. Kerrang is owned by EMAP who also run lots of other mags and radio stations and don't really have a clue about what is going on in the real world.
They can't get new realeaes on the CD because the record companies won't licence them to - so we get music that is a couple of years old instead!
Kerrangs managers aren't doing themselves any favours though. I'm sure lots of the indie record labels would love to have there bands featured on the CD. Bands like Paradise Lost, Carcass, Anathema etc etc. Bloody hell - Cradle of Filth aren't even on the CD. And what about Therapy? ?

alright... I think this sounds ok, i like the idea of putting loads of different genres together... broadening horizons, and having something for everyone etc...
I have 3 grievences
1. WTF is kid rock doing there, he is rubbish and that song is without a doubt one of the worst songs ive ever heard
2. What is with kerrangs new bum chums the gaslight anthem... who the fuck are they?? and why are they on an album with some great bands when no one really knows them
3. Why are there some songs on there like good charlotte and green day that are like 1 million yrs old and basically not even played anymore... I mean at least ppl still listen to the HIM song, but ppl got sick of American idiot a long time ago :)
