The Kerrang! Awards TONIGHT!

The 14th annual Kerrang! Awards, take place tonight at a top secret location in East London this evening.

Hosted once again by Anthrax axeman Scott Ian, the biggest and best names in rock will all be in attendance for what is going to be the greatest rock 'n' roll show on earth!

Live coverage from the K! Awards will kick off at 6PM (GMT) tonight on the Kerrang! Awards blog - blog.kerrangawards.com/2008/.

You'll be able to read live blogging here. Check out arrivals photos from the glitzy red carpet and swanky drinks reception here and then at 7:30PM (GMT) you'll be able to see just who will be picking a much converted Kerrang! Award or two here.

i went to see them 24th march 2007 when i was a huge fan....and im still a loyal fan

they are amazing live...and just playing from cd....they deserve an award and i think i do to as i got biten really bad the other day because i was wearing an mcr hoodie lol

30 seconds to mars DEFINITELY deserve atleast one award. saw them at give it a name this year, and before and they blew my socks off, "lame saying but ah well", anyways, YM@6 should also win, again, they played GIAN well good. Lostprophets better win best british band if not best live band aswell, saw them in birmingham this week, best gig ive ever been to!!!!

lets be honest, i dont really think ymas exactly 'deserve' to win best british band! im not saying i dont like them, because i do alot, but there's a difference between being an awesome young band and being the best british band. they haven't even released an ep! if they were up for best newcomer then fair enough, but they did that last year, so...

I love kerrang so much but i live in the USA and we dont get shit over here!!!!
I wish i lived in the uk!!
The only thing we have is fuse, and we have no magazines here of all rock(tear)

Awful lot of hypocrisy going on in that blog - same people who called these awards 'free and fair' when the nominees were announced are now saying that the awards are rigged, because Slaves To Gravity beat their beloved Go Audio and Elliot Minor to an award, or because Machine Head beat 30 Seconds To Mars and Lostprofits to best live band.

Face it, the best bands (in some cases) won, and you hypocrites are as false as you claim these awards to be. Grow up, get a life, and chill out!

Just wanna say that I am sooo glad 30STM have won 2 awards this year......I just watched a bit of the awards and I heard one of the guys from Biffy saying he was gonna slap one of the blokes from 30STM....WTFF??.....Easy Biffy I quite like your stuff..maybe he was just totally "pissed" that they never won an award!!! Seriousley well done to the MARS boys they deserved it!!

yeh,not surprised at most of results saying a bunch of 12 year olds voted who no fuck all bout music and vote on appearance and whine on about who much they love Jared Lehto,pathetic really.how bfmv and 30stm are even considered for award is beyond me such a fucking joke, yet alone win best international band,Fuck Kerrang, never herd of Iron Maiden,Metallica ext,theres just no comparison, Dillinger Escape Plan,fuck yeh, only decent band nominated aswell as machine head who should have won every award as there more appreciated than some whimy shit pop rock band who sound all the same with no uniqueness and only play 4 chords in a song,JUST FUCK OFF KERRANG.
