Kerrang! is offering readers the chance to attend an exclusive Slipknot album playback of their brand new album!

We have six exclusive listening sessions arranged for all over the UK, on August 12, 17 and 18 – way before the album’s release!

Each listening session will feature:

-A playback of the entire new album a week before release (never played publicly before).

-A screening of the bonus DVD

-A big raffle prize on the night

-Exclusive Slipknot T-shirts provided by Bravado

-More free stuff!

Winner?

Well about this I received an email this afternoon from Melissa Williams of Roadrunner Records who said that the Manchester party which was supposed to be tonight had been cancelled due to late delivery of the new album. She confirmed that the new date for the Manchester party would be this coming Thursday at the same venue between 8 to 10.00. The email never confirmed if I was a winner though so I have emailed her back to confirm this, I am praying like mad that I am one of the lucky ones anyway!

Exactly mate, I emailed her at around 16.45 today and she never replied back. Hopefully she does tomorrow anyway with the response we are both praying for otherwise like yourself I will be fucking annoying because that email really got my hopes up. It is a poor do really, they should have let us known if we were winnders at least a couple of weeks before the actual party and not keep us in the dark a few days before it.

You should have won J because after asking this Melissa if I was a winner or not she said that she was under the impression that Kerrang had emailed all of the winners already. However since they havent she confirmed that I was a winner and my name would be on the guestlist at the door on the night. I wouldnt like to be in your shoes mate anyway, what a decision you have to make! If I was you I would go to Leeds Festival, you have paid a lot of money for your ticket for a weekend of great bands, since the Slipknot event only lasts for a couple of hours then I think I know what I would be doing.
