Paramore start work on album number three

K! faves Paramore have begun work writing material for the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2007's Riot!.

Speaking to US magazine Billboard, guitarist Josh Farro said the new material is taking a more mellow direction, and they hope to have it finished for a mid 2009 release.

"The first record [2005's All We Know Is Falling) and Riot! seemed to stay at the same level," said Farro. "But now we've got some really, really mellow songs that you'd never expect to hear out of our band.

"But then we've got even heavier songs than we've ever had," he continued. "It's gonna be a little different."

The so called soppy "mellow" songs like Hallelujah, My Heart and Emergency etcc are three of my favourite songs by Paramore. I hate how kerrang makes out paramore are a bunch of bloodly little emo school children. Paramore are amazing and I love their heavier and more mellow stuff. I cannot wait will album number 3.

Excuse me! Can we all just CALM THE FUCK DOWN And Stop Writing Like This? Firstly, some fans? Lucy, like Laura said, why the hell did you think they played (half) a sold-out tour back in February? Who bought the tickets, ghosts? Laura, there are most bands who do write the same type of music and most of them are generally crap and THEY often enough have loads of fans who say that band has a point. Why don't you BOTH grow the fuck up?!

Back on topic, it's good they're edging away even slightly from the usual formula. I'm looking forward to this album having been a fan of them for a few years.

I had the missfortune of hearing this band whilst visiting my 13 year old neice on her birthday... why she likes them i have no idea... anywhoooo! .... i think the beatles we're heavier then paramore... i've honest had dumps that are heavier.... i think the only thing that heavy with paramore is the object that clearly fell from their stage and obviously hit hailey williams full on in the face.... fuck ugly and as interesting to listen too as pete docherty discussing his art work....yawn, yawn , fucking yawn!!!

Paramore is Awesome!!

I loved Paramore ever since I heard them on the Sims 2!! They love to be in games!! Now they are in Saint's Row and Guitar Hero!! They are not as heavy as others go, but are quite high up with some of their songs, like my heart!! They are quite heavy before you reach the crazy rock and metal!!
I can't wait for this, as I lpve Paramore!! Even though I am not a big fan of slow songs, I actually like their ones, and even the ones I am not a big fan of, I don't hate, I still love them, just not as much!!!! I love all their songs!!
IN CONCLUSION....... THEY ROCK!!!!!
