Muse start work on new album

Muse have begun demoing material for the follow-up to 2006's Black Holes & Revelations.

"We're working on new stuff and we're gonna have a couple of weeks off and then in about two weeks time we're back out to Italy to start writing again," said drummer Dom Howard in an interview with the BBC's 6 Music. "We've already done a few tracks and it sounds great, so we're just working towards the future."

The band's as yet untitled new album is expected to surface early next year.

firstly. as much i love muse, oasis are the bigger band (eve though i think there shit) thats just my opinion and i cant wait for this album although im a little worried about it after hearing the shit that is 'who knows who' i really hope they dont try and become RATM . Owell lets hope this is the new OoS the best album of the 21st century

Well, my personal opinion After Oasis's first album, the have tried to be a band that they barnt! Yes they have still produced great music, with catchy lyrics. But because they are a true british band, everyone loves them!
Back in the 90's when it was the Oasis / Blur Battle, you could compare them more because they were both BRITPOP!
wehereas you cant compare Muse and Oasis!
Two Totally Different bands!
Like is said before!
Oasis British Briitpop band
Muse, Their Genre changes! Songs can be Quite dark! like in Origin Of symmetry. And they can still create classic Tunes like Knight Of Cydonia!

oasis v muse

In case any of you fucking retards havn't noticed, this is the kerrang website, which is supposedly about metal and hard rock. The ocasional muse tune can be classed as hard rock but oasis are a fucking pop band more suited to nme or perhaps another teenage girls website. most of their record sales are based on cheap publicity stunts. I've got a new album out soon so i'll have a pop at jay z to get myself in the papers again. Fairly sure liam will be fighting paparazzi or attacking another celeb soon, in order to get himself and the band back in the papers again. Oasis, second only to the beatles. what fucking distant planet are you on. there is at least 10 bands sold more than oasis, probably more like 20!
