According to a post on www.metallica.com, the Bay Area thrash titans will play London's O2 on September 15.
"First off, how about a location? The fabulous 02 World in Berlin and 02 in London will be the sites of our little bashes," reads the posting. "...And we're really excited that in Berlin this will be the very first event at the brand new arena. As we mentioned before, we want to hang with some of our closest friends from the Fan Club and Mission Metallica, so tickets will only be available to those of you registered on the sites. More details on how to get those tickets and when they go on sale will be posted later this week.
"Because this is a celebration, tickets prices will be, shall we say, 'retro?' Only ten Euros for Berlin, five pounds in London! And the best part is that all the proceeds from the sale of tickets will be donated to local charities. We want everyone to have a chance to join us, so there will be a two ticket limit per member, and you will only be able to pick up your tickets at the box office on the day of the show.
