Lamb Of God: New album!

Lamb Of God have announced that they have begun work on a new album.

Due in February 2009, the follow-up to 2006's Sacrament will be produced by Josh Wilbur.

"We are excited change things up this time and work with Josh," says drummer Chris Adler. "We’ve never stayed in one place too long, and the evolution continues. There is an aggressive shift in the material and our approach. The bar has been raised.”

bout time, hope its a bit more original than Sacrament was, not that it was a bad album...just...bit boring dont ya think? compared to what they are capable of.

sacrament was over rated, ahes of the wake was a much better album. Hopefully they'll agree and pump out an amazing album, and hopefully theyll finall do a headline tour!!

Wahey! News that hasn't broken into argument (yet I dare say)!

Can't wait to see what the next album will be like.
In my opinion As The Palaces Burn is their best stuff, followed by Sacrament and Ashes.

Not got New American Gospel but I don't suppose there is any such thing as a dud L.O.G album is there? :)

Joelio; New American Gospel's okay, but the vocals sound kinda strained.. maybe check out a track first to see if you mind them ;)

josh wilber

hey guys hope you get this i grew up with josh in n.berwick-lebanon-berwick maine he's great wish you guys could or maybe have of oxford snow kings with the best singer and guy i have ever known mark meattey died by my side at sunnyingdale golf course in somersworth,nh.in 2001 josh was in that band and is sick-mark meattey-vocals-mark frechette-guitar-zach fiel-bass and josh wilber-drums and back vocals!been a long time hope you guys enjoy working with!and it better be the josh wilber that i know he is the fucking man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's up Drew. I remember being there too. One of the worst nights in all of our lives when Mark fell. He was simply one of the most charismatic, insightful, and energetic people I've ever known. All those OSK guys were awesome too. Josh is doing well as you can see by his discog. Thanks to you too for all those times hanging out and all those shows we went to.

Sacrament was good too but not as much as ashes and as the palaces burn.
