I thought that the Bullet feature was...crap. I mean, there are so many other things worth reporting in the metal / rock / alternative scence at the moment....although, remember, this is the magazine that said it thought Emo wouldn't last and that it would never support it...

Anyway, posters were good (Bar Paramore)...good old Funeral for a Friend..ok I'm mean thier main man...and Tarja :D

lol you guys talk some shite. msi are one of the friendliest bands around when you get to meet them,if your friend asked for the photo when he came out after the gig then its what he always does,cause he comes out and he messes around with the fans for a while but theres always a ton of ppl to get through,so he cant pose with everybody.

and as for being in it for the money,for a band that have been goin since 1995 and are bound to have not been making huge sums until not overly long ago,if they were in it for the money theyd have quit bout 5 yrs ago.

as for slipknot,newer stuff is ok but as a band.....overrated.

Sorry man but MSI are the worst band I have ever heard.
I suffered them at Leeds (for a friend) and they were awful.
Their is no excuse to be rude to anyone and my only regret was the fact that the cup of beer aimed at Lyn-Z missed her.

Did you see Lyn-z face when she looked at the crowd after it - you wouldn't mess with her. However i do wish she'd punch Jimmy piss - he's such an arrogant ass wipe. Pretty boring if we all liked the same though i suppose. I don't get the MSI are so nice i met them. Why oh why would you want to meet a band. I like watching bands and listening to their stuff but i sure as hell wouldn't hang about waiting to meet them.

I would have to say that this weeks kerrang seems interesting. I can't wait to read the verdict of slipknots new album. However, i can't believe that there is another paramore poster! Kerrang awards. Woop. Slipknot did well ;). And yet again 30STMs won another award. That band just keeps on bringing it!

This week's issue seem's to be pretty good actually. I can live with all the weakling music so long as there is decent music somewhere in the magazine, which there seem's to be prgressively more of in this magazine of late. Even Though Posters every week are wank, apart from Metallica. And to all u ppl who are havin a strop about Metallica being in the spotlight again....I say give 'em a chance, I personally cant wait to hear their new album, If u read the stuff in the article about them last week, by the sounds of it it's quite a good album. =)

Also Can't wait to see the slipknot album review - Just ordered it off Play.com =D (along with Death Magnetic)

Review Of The K! awards should be interesting too....If Weezer's Pork & Beans didn't get the best Video then I dunno what the world is coming to....That video is fucking SICK AS!!!!!

Actually both of us was wrong it was they have brought out four albums and that was there second album because they have brought out Sounding the second trumpet then waking the fallen and I havn't listened to both of them I have only listened to City Of Evil and there self named album and how can I pretend that I can't understand what he is saying when I haven't even listened to it =S. if you hadnt realised slipknot is one of the best metal bands still out there keeping metal alive, considering theyve just had a 3 year break theres alot of hype from their fans for the new album
i mean ffs how many times was mcr in AFTER the album was released, it was like non-stop theyd play a big show in america, it would have to be cover news, currently what the hell is mcr doin? nothing to be fair apart from resting and thinking of new stuff for their new album, hardly interesting till they actually start making the songs

If you don't like a poster, then dont put it up!!! its for people who want them, you are bound to get a poster you dont like, unless you are lucky enough to like everyone. You try updating posters every week and see if anyone says they dont like one. Its tough, deal with it. Or you could always just burn the poster if you feel so depressed about it. =p

SOULFLY & WINNING A SLIPKNOT CD?

IM THE ONE IN THE PHOTO BUT THERE ARE 2 PROBLEMS.
1.I PAID AT THE DOOR BECAUSE I JUST CAME BACK FROM GERMANY AFTER WACKEN...SO I HAVE NO TICKET 2 PROVE I PAID 2 GET IN.

AND SECONDLY WHY GIVE A SLIPKNOT CD AWAY WITH IT?
BECAUSE OF SPENDING MY MONEY ON GOING 2 GIGS IV NOT BEEN ABLE 2 BUY THE NEW TESTAMENT,JUDAS PRIEST OR SOULFLY ALBUM.SO WHY CANT I HAVE ONE OF THEM!!?!!??

SAYING THAT EVEN THO IM NOT THE BIGGEST SLIPKNOT FAN A PART OF ME DOSE WANT THE CD BECAUSE THE SINGER HELPED ON THE ANTHRAX ALBUM.SO IT WOULD B GOOD 2 SEEWHAT HE COULD OF BROUGHT 2 ONEOF THE BEST METAL BANDS GOING.

ALSO WHILE I AM TALKING WAY 2 MUCH.I AGREE THAT SOULFLY SHOW WASNT PERFECT BUT FUCK ME WAS IT GOOD.

....AND I WOULD OF GONE EVEN MORE CRAZY AND OTT IF MY NECK WASNT STILL IN A LITTLE BIT OF PAIN AFTER EXODUS AND CARCASS (IN WACKEN) AND ALL THE HEADBANGING I DID IN ALL THE COOL GERMAN PUBS AND CLUBS.
BY THE WAY THERE METAL PUBS AND CLUBS ARE MUCH NICER THAN OUR....

For the love of god STOP PUTTING SO MANY METALCORE BANDS IN. I swear to god AC/DC are bringing a brand new album out and you dont even bother to put them in the magazine. all i can hope for is that you do not put slipknot on the front cover again. The the only reason i wanted them to bring the damn thing out is so that you would shut up about them and put some different bands in. That's now 8 times in a row you have put slipknot in the mag. the onl reason i'm buying this one is because of the rage against the machine and metallica interviews. its meant to be a mixed mag but its becoming more of a metalcore/screamo mag.

Tbh,

-Paramore and MCR are not doing anything atm. That means no press, which means no interviews in British music magazines. 'More MCR' or 'More Paramore!' - jeez.

-If Mindless Self Indulgence are arrogant assholes, they sure don't show it. Loveliest band I've ever met, actually - I'm pretty sure anyone whose seen them recently will back me up here.

-Why people love Slipknot so much, I will never know. Overrated bollocks but because they're so damn hardcore & aren't familar with hair straightners (or any sense of personal hygiene, come to think of it), they escape a lot of shit that these 'Emo' bands get. New album? Bloody joke.

Oh, and you were on the right track with The Gaslight Anthem. :]

im writing to sy how DISGUSTED i am about the way Frank Carter talks about his fans. In last weeks issue (K!1124), in the article " Everything's Falling Apart" he was asked "If You Write A Record That You Like But All Your Fans Hate, What Would You Think?" and he replied "i wouldn't give a fuck. fuck them." He was also asked "What If Everyone Loves The Record But You End Up Hating It?" and he replied "i'd quit. we're the only eople whose opinions count. fuck everyone else." This just shows how little he cares about his fans, the people who got him where he is today, and to be honest, i hope everything DOES fall apart if thats the way he rewards his fans for all their commitment.

I agree with him music is meant to make you as yourself happy not fans,unlike bands like FOB who make music just to keep the fans and therefore their bank balances happy and by the way i'm a huge Gallows fan.

I've got all the albums, the EP and the DVD. I've listened to them for years and fuck, I can understand what he's saying on the first two albums. It's not that hard, you just have to actually listen to it.

TDWP Article.

First of all, I'd just like to say how can you just be introducing TDWP now? Loads of people have heard of them!

And, when I was reading The Devil Wears Prada article, i was shocked at how they only mentioned that they went on tour with A Day To Remember! Were Alesana no part of that tour at all???

Yeah, so practically everything that was written about them I was surprised at, and quite annoyed!

(But Dan Williams is lush! So I was happy about the picture of them because Dan looks awesome in that photo!)
