Glassjaw and Thursday men team-up for grindcore side-project

United Nations, the grindcore side-project of Thursday frontman Geoff Rickly and Glassjaw/Head Automatica vocalist Daryl Palumbo, will release their debut album in the US on September 9 through Eyeball Records.

The band also features former The Number 12 Looks Like You drummer Christopher "Chree" Conger, Made Out Of Babies bassist Eric Cooper and The Lovekill guitarist Jonah Bayer.

Hmmmmm......

I'm quite into grindcore, especially bands like Napalm Death, Nasum, Pig Destroyer, Brutal Truth, Rotten Sound, Fuck...I'm Dead and the like. This could well be good but then again, could well be a stinker.

Not a big grindcore fan, but I have much respect for Rickly and Palumbo.

I'm a MASSIVE Thursday fan and I've never really been into Glassjaw, do it's mostly the Geoff Rickly participation I'm looking forward to hearing.Isn't Jonah a music journalist though.Cometbus fanzine or something?
I watch Kill The Houselights too much and it says he is : /
Still, pretty awesome line-up
