Ville Valo will NOT let you have his babies

In this week's Kerrang! magazine we put YOUR questions to HIM frontman Ville Valo.

They ranged from the serious - "How did you manage to get sober?" - to the practical - "What are your tips for putting on eyeliner?" - to the downright silly - "Would you consider donating your sperm so my girlfriend could give birth to a mini-you?".

Apparently Ville gets asked this question a lot, so we thought we'd put his answer up online so you lot can stop bugging him for his seamen...

"It's funny that this question came up because I was just talking to someone about this subject recently," he says. "I'd probably have to say no, because they've changed the law concerning sperm donations. Once the child turns eighteen they now have the right to find out the identity of their biological father, which in my opinion is a little bit wrong.

"The thought of a kid turning up on my doorstep scares the shit out of me, so I'll save my sperm for my own future girlfriend. It takes a ridiculous amount of work to get it out these days, so I think it's not to be given away."

Well, it all depends on what kind of retarded questions are being asked. There are some funny questions that are asked in band interviews, and then there's the not so funny ones that are pretty disturbing, such as this one lol. I just think it makes Ville look bad. Questions like this makes him look like a sleezy popstar. Everyone calls him a poser and a fag now, and it's coz of all these magazines. And the rest of HIM are never in interviews with Ville, so that doesn't help, but yeah, I guess there's nothing wrong with retarded questions, as long as they're not the typical "Can I have your babies" question, coz that's just old annoying now.

HIM's probably featured in this mag alot because they dont gety much credit in the uk, soo, kerrang being a uk magazine will probably sell alot when HIM are in the mag because uk HIM fans are excited about it. Everyone has their own opinion anyways, like when HIM arent in the magazine their fans probably wont like the band/frontman that is, but it doesnt mean we resort to calling them ugly or a cunt. You just have to dea with it an know that even though its not satisfying you, it's satisfying someone else.

It's disappointing though because every time HIM is printed on the cover or any band name for that matter people expect the whole band (or at least more than the frontman) maybe one is ok to have only the frontman but every time HIM is printed on the front it may as well be Ville Valo printed there because that's all it every is. disappointing, because I actually quite like (the band) HIM

Kerrang is a joke by itself. Maybe it's time people stop taking Kerrang as a serious magazine with serious bands and serious articles. It is just a witty compilation of good writers and for the most part very popular bands, who, are at time, absolute shite and Kerrang know it. They want to sell the magazine ffs.
