The Kerrang! Awards 2008 will take place at a top secret location in London on August 21.

We recently asked you to cast your votes in eight of the Awards' 13 categories, both online and by snail mail. Our servers went into meltdown and our postie put his back out as thousands of entries flooded in for what is shaping up to be a closely fought contest.

nope...surprising, i know, considering they had gone top 40 at that point, and you me at six hadn't even released a single...must admit, the relentless touring really paid off, they're an amazing live band and a bunch of really sweet boys, even if their music isn't the greatest.

Why are MCR up for 'Best International Band' when they havent actually done anything in ages????
Don't get me wrong - I worship MCR and everything but all thats happened with them recently is the whole thing with the Daily Crap.

don't insult wales. wales is the best place ever!!! mostly due to the accents. and the fact that nearly every good british band comes from there. obviously good british bands come from other places, but there are a rather large amount from there.
