Chiodos frontman Craig Owens is recovering from a failed suicide attempt.
The troubled frontman attempted a drugs overdose at his Michigan home on July 20 and has subsequently checked into an undisclosed mental health facility.

Yes, but what you said isnt relevant either. If he was in the most successful band ever, its still irrelevant.
He has a mental health problem, and so therefore he wouldn't think of the reality of his success, just the pain he is obviously going through.

Being in a successful band is a job aswell, and one that's not as easy as you probably think.
If YOU won a billion pounds.. After a while you would get used to it, and you want want more, it wouldnt be a dream anymore. It becomes normal.
So what you said is not really relevant either.

Being successful and famous doesn;t neccesarily make your life perfect, it doesn't cancel out all the problems you may unfortunately have

It's totally relevant.
On the surface you can seem to have it all - the perfect life, even - but none of us know the problems we each go through privately. Owens must be in a lot of pain to even contemplate committing suicide. Kurt Cobain was in one of the world's most successful bands but his fame and fortune and success only caused him more despair.
I don't see what being successful or not has to do with the repercussions of suicide. It's sad either way for everyone concerned.

I do hope you go through the pain he may be going through, might help you know what its like.

God. I never knew people could be so insensitive to things like this...my best friend just tried to kill himself, so this really resonates with me. Corey had it hard, but he was so happy, I never even expected it.
Depression is a disease, it has nothing to do with wether your famous or successful or w/e. My Dad has depression, but he was able to see that before things got too much. Two of his best friends killed themself in the space of a year, so he knows how to recognise the signs.
Aww man, i hate hearing things like this. We're all with you man, you can get through it. There is nothing that life throws at you that you cant get through if you just keep believing it'll get better.
