Atreyu to headline Taste Of Chaos 2008

The annual Taste Of Chaos trek will be hitting the UK in October.

The bill will be headlined by Orange County metallers Atreyu with As I Lay Dying, Story Of The Year and MUCC in support.

Depends what part of Newcastle you go to. They have spruced up the town but go somewhere like South Shields and you will be hard pressed to call it anything other than a shit hole.

The people I met there are pretty cool though!

T.O.C tour is getting worst and worst. In 2006 it was huge, in massive venues...now its tiny with a shitty line up (bar 'As I lay Dying') playing in shitholes like Dundee (Scumdee)..what the hell is going on...last year it was wayyy to emo as well...this year is not much better.

Atreyu suck, Story of the year sound like a million other bands, dunno who the other band even are? Please get some decent bands involved, not shitty generic faux metal corporate cock-sucking fucktards A7X tho, coz they are even worst, Every Time I Die would be sweet if its true.

Get some UK bands involved, Bullet, Fightstar, Architects, Exit Ten, Johnny Truant, Devil Sold His Soul....so much talent in the UK but we get this shite.

I think its a pretty fucking awesome line-up, SOTY man come on !!! and Atreyu are fucking mint too! And I had a listen to some of MUCC stuff, and they sound pretty cool too, so I dont see what the problem is
Sure I thought we were getting A7x, but at the end of the day you can do fuck all about it... we get what we get and thats it!

AILD should be headlining tbh, they cane serious arse, but i've got no problem with the other bands
I mean I like SOTY, Atreyu and MUCC, so it should be awesome
I'd prefer it if there were some british talent on that tour, like Zico Chain, Evile, Gama Bomb, then it'd be even better

TOC08 Line Up

I went to the first 2 Tours and noticed a distinct less sucking in the first. The only let down there were The Used. Then came 06, Not bad. Only a few good bands
I missed 2007 because The Used were headlining with Aiden..... what the balls? And this year seems even worse
Rockstar are slipping man. They started out at the NIA, now it's just the academy! I don't think i'll go again. Instead, i might start throwing my money at Give It A Name... Other than 30 Seconds to Mars (Ironically, If you take every piece that Jared Leto sang, you'd get a full 30 seconds of singing), It was pretty awsome. Glassjaw, Billy Talent and Anti-Flag have my soul in their pockets.
I'll still keep an eye on it, it was the first gig i ever went to, seeing Killswitch Engage and the brilliant Funeral For a Friend, aswell as Rise Against and Story of the Year proving their worth! Bring back the good ol days, Taste of Chaos.... cause right now, it just sucks

Totally confused at the official line-up...So... D'espairs Ray... are they playing or not? Still loving the Scottish-ness. 3 Days in Scotland to choose from in relatively small venues - thats kinda odd, but I don't like huge venues, you loose the intimacy with the band.
