FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND, WATERFRONT DANCE CLUB
The first fruit of the Welsh-wonders' decision to strike out on their own, Waterfront Danceclub is a huge wash of melody with a chorus the size of Wales.

Featuring former members of Refused, this snarly racket is punk peeled back to its bare bones and allowed to rampage up and down your spine.

Single

This is Within Temptation's brand new single by the by! It is superb. The single (digipack I believe) features demos of The Last Time (brand new song!), Frozen (which is as emotional as useual *sniff*) and Our Solemn Hour (wierd but amazing!) and on iTunes (although I had to d/l this as I couldn't get it via iTunes) a demo of The Hand of Sorrow - which is absobloody fantastic!

Enjoy people!

IF you need any of those songs message me on youtube - my username is Plummad (watch out - dodgy videos about!)

Great more copy cats...

I am the only who thinks Working Class Heroes sounds pretty much the same as Paramore? The be honest I wouldn't notice the difference if they did a cover of a Paramore song. This seems like another case were one bands get popular and the media tries to find a band to copy their sucess which sounds exactly like the popular band.

Great more copy cats... - joke right?

Yes - because we all know Paramore are REALLY original. What are you on Abi? Paramore are not original. Working Class Heroes are JUST as original. Want original music? Iron Maiden, Cradle of Filth, Within Temptation - These bands sound SIMILAR to other bands (i.e Within Temptation and Nigthwish) but they are imo the forerunners in their league.

And besides - this just means the emo kids can slit their wrists to more music *yay*. I don't give a fuck about what anyone replys - I slit my wrists and my body because I HAVE REAL PROBLEMS AND A MENTAL ILLNESS - I know an emo who would cut himself to fit in - I hate him.

ha!

Municipal Waste are American!

Ah well, good to see Municipal Waste up there, and also Violator finally getting a little recognition. I recommend any true metal fan to check them out, the best Brazilian thrash act since Sepultura.

The Tryptikon (Not just a transformer then!) track is pretty good, and Municipal Waste sound as good as ever. Violater are pretty good too. The Kids in Glass Houses track is abysmal, as the Working Class Heroes one, and what the bloody hell happened to Linkin Park? They weren't very good to start with, but they sound like bloody Savage Garden now!

It's good to see some bands with talant getting some recognition. Within Temptation deserve their successes and hopefully will encourage other people to grow out of Evanescence.

anyone remember this song?

I'm trying to find out who sings this song and what the song is called, it came out a good few years back maybe 2002-2004.
The lead singer as chin length black hair in a middle parting wore some black clothes.
The video had lots of blood in it, there were kids with weapons and were killing their parents i believe may have been in scout uniform and school uniforms. i have no idea what it is called but its bugging me senseless anyone help. its a rock/metal band

thanks emma

Within Temptation

I swear Sharon's voice gets better and better every time i hear them.

This song is absolutely fantastic and definitely one of my favourites from their last album.
the song is just full of emotion and Sharon's vocals can really make you "feel" what she is singing about.

they played an amazing set on download's main stage this year, and I am sure they blew everyone away at the weekend when they played with Iron Maiden (wish i could've gone!)

am looking forward to the new live DVD they are releasing where they used a full orchestra and choir, I am sure that would have been an amazing show to see
