Staind sign to Roadrunner

Squillion selling American rockers Staind have inked a deal with Roadrunner Records.

The Massachusetts-based band will release their new studio album, The Illusion Of Progress, through Roadrunner on September 8. In a special launch deal with MySpace, the band have posted their fourthcoming single, Believe, online at: www.myspace.com/staind

Staind will support label mates Nickelback on their September arena tour.

15 Manchester, MEN
16 Sheffield, Arena
18 Birmingham, NEC
19 London, O2 Arena
21 London, Wembley Arena

That's rubbish, if Staind were supporting a decent band I would go and see them for sure, but no, I will not subject myself to Nickelback.

I don't want to ruffle any reathers, but I hate the way roadrunner are going. They used to be a metal label, and now they're signing any old shit... for example.....

oh crap

just stating my opinion vikki, they singer has the must mundane and boring voice i have ever heard! I heard all the hype and thought i'd have a listen so borrowed an album off a friend. I found it very repetitive, boring, dull and did i mention boring?!
