The case of shock rocker Marilyn Manson vs. former band mate Madonna Wayne Gacy has hit another stumbling block when both parties refused to answer questions about their respective alleged use of illegal narcotics at a deposition hearing last week.
Manson's lawyers maintain the singer, who has already refused to answer questions on his finances would also not answer questions about his alleged use of illegal drugs.
Meanwhile lawyers for Gacy - real name Stephen Bier - have instructed their client not to answer questions about his own alleged drug use either, and whether or not his use of illegal drugs impaired his ability to perform on stage.
The original lawsuit stems from Gacy's claims that Manson spent his royalties on African masks made of human skin, a full skeleton of a 4-year-old Chinese girl that Manson is said to have turned into a chandelier and another skeleton of a man in a wheelchair. Gacy is seeking $20 million dollars in damages. Manson countersued in December last year claiming that Bier did not fulfil his obligations to the band.
Hearings at Los Angeles Superior Court on June 19 and July 1 will determine if both parties will be compelled to answer questions about their respective alleged use of illegal narcotics.
