It's nearly 2pm here at the Download festival - and most of the Kerrang! team are nursing some serious aches and pains following yet another awesome day-night-morning at the UK's most rocking festival!
Elliot Minor are at their signing session right now - with over 300 people are ready to meet them, and Exit Ten are rocking out on the Gibson Stage. So, as the skies start to clear - it's time to look back at Saturday's super sights!

Just got back.
I've just got back from Download about an hour ago.
The weekend was brilliant, the drink was even better like.
Kiss were the band of the weekend in my mind.
Lostprophets were fucking awsome last night.
Offspring were the worst of the headliners as they hade the worst stage show, they were on for the least amount of time on stage. For headliners there show sucked but still enjoyed watching them.
Saturday was absaloutley red hot, Friday n Sunday were warm and could have been a bit sunnyer but never mind.
Best bands on during the days were
Bullet for my Valentine, Disturbed, Johnny Truant, Airbourne and Judas Priest.
I went to see Lethal Bizzle, it was fucking brilliant, he got the worst bottleing i have ever seen, 3X as bad as MCR last year.
But he won the crowd over, did the full set and when the crowd were chanting we want more, he stayed on the staage on his own and did a solo version of his rap from "Staring at the rude Bois" and the corwd was singing the chorus.
Bizzle was deffo the funniest of the weekend it was great.
If you didn't go becuase you didn't like the lineup, then your plain dumb becuase it was still a fucking brilliant weekend.
Feel a little ill now though :]
FUCKING BRILLIANT

fair enough
Not doubting it was a brilliant weekend, but I ain't paying 160-odd quid for a small handful of bands and the 'atmosphere' when I can go to a festival where there is a whole shedload of awesome musicians for the same price. gald to hear it was good though ; )
