Hayley's ex-stepfather sells her stuff on eBay

Kerrang! is shocked to learn that Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams' ex-stepfather is selling some of her possessions on internet auction site eBay.

Among the items up for grabs includes William's old diaries.

In a post on Paramore's blog Williams writes:

"I saw that post someone made about the 'handwritten book' on eBay. Yes, it's mine. Hahah! I don't remember being a sad child but I definitely loved horror films at a really young age. I guess that was reflected in this particular assignment.

"Anyway, that's not exactly what I'm posting about. I'm actually posting about the seller of this item. It happens to be my ex-stepfather. Who is... Well... insane, hence the reason he is my EX-stepfather. So, while I can laugh at the fact that a bit of my past has surfaced, I have to admit I felt like throw in shit when I saw the username.

"To be honest, I'd love to post his full name. Where he works. Possibly a phone number? Then all of you could show him what it feels like when your personal life is out there for everyone to put their hands on. Fortunately for him... Living with him for seven years wasn't quite enough to make me turn out just like him... Or was it?

crap. now this is entering the media. do we really want this? do we really want perez hilton boasting about this tomorrow morning on vh1? or his website? do we really want the rolling stone, kerrang!, and alt press gossiping about this, or worse, people or star?
the correct answer would be NO. if we really respected paramore, hayley, and her family, then we would just let the situation be, and let time heal it on its own. we should let hayley and her family members handle this one on their own. however, with how society and the media acts today (coughchildishcough), that is almost impossible to do.
i admit being one of the people who defended hayley and gave that guy heck by sending him an email. as i clicked send, not only did i feel good, as if i had gotten my revenge, but i knew that within a few hours i was going to regret it. this is going to come bite me in the butt. it's going to come back and bite everyone's butt, even hayley's. what she did wasn't right. i think she just felt really angry and wanted her fans to help defend her through this one. in a way, it would totally teach that guy a lesson, but it also was a good way letting the situation get out of control. and it did, and now it's all over the media.
i feel bad for hayley, and wish her and her family nothing but the best for them for years to come. i wish nothing but the worst for her stepfather. but do i really want my part in this situation? hell no. so why don't we just let it go, go back to what we were doing, and leave it alone? sorry to get all chris crocker on you, but seriously, just leave hayley and her family alone on this one.
