Gallows album update!

Gallows have posted an update from the studio, where they are working on a new release:

"Studio Update - Part One!

So seeing as it feels like we released Orchestra Of Wolves back in the 19th century, we thought we'd give you a little update on what's happening with the new record.

We've been writing for the last few weeks and have about a dozen tracks that we feel could go on the album so far. BUT... we also plan to write a whole load more before we begin recording so this album is going to be all Killer no Filler. We know a lot of bands say that but you can trust us when we say we mean it!

Recording is scheduled to begin on September 1st with the producer GGGarth Richardson who's worked with legendary bands like Rage Against The Machine, Melvins and Red Hot Chili Peppers. We're really excited to begin recording and we hope to have the record released worldwide in February 2009. So it's a little while off yet but will be worth the wait!!

Check back soon for more updates, we'll be posting regularly and putting up some video clips on our Youtube channel when recording starts.

Until then, keep hammerin' Orchestra Of Wolves fools!

eurgh, i actualy half used to like this band no way now , frank carters an idiot. i feel sorry for anyone that has gone 2 a gallows gig more than once cause its the same old gig everytime, nothing really new and as always. Carter gets pissed off, hits a fan and then get sued. great one!. seriously i saw them b4 they got signed and again last yr, big mistake, fucking well crap go to 2 gigs and then ul realise how shit they are

I don't recall Frank Carter getting sued for hitting a fan?

To be honest they haven't been going for that long. They started in 2005, got one album of material, plus a few newer tracks they put on a re-release, plus a few covers. And now they're working on new material for a new album which they've already started playing.

I'm seeing them in Norwich tomorrow night at a warm up show which will be the 2nd time of seeing them, so i'll get back to you on how shit they will apparently be.

Well that was an amazing gig. They may have played for longer and sounded better the first time i saw them, but baring in mind this was a warm up gig in a pub, it was immense.

Frank was jumping around in such a tiny space, handing his mic out for people to sing along. They covered 'Party Hard' by Andrew WK.
Whoever says Gallows don't care about the fans, Frank was making sure everyone was ok after nearly every song, telling people to look out for each other, and not hang off the lighting rigs (which eventually came off during the last song)

I also managed to get my poster print signed by every member of the band and watched Frank play Tetris on an It-Box afterwards.
