Fall Out Boy bassist gets own TV show

Pete Wentz is to host his very own TV show.

The Fall Out Boy bassist has been confirmed as the new presenter for MTV's F'N MTV which airs in the US this Friday (June 13).

The premise for the show is to play music videos and live performances in their entirety. The first edition will feature five new full-length videos, one old school video and a live performance.

MTV has been heavily criticised for not showing music videos in their entirety. Indeed the level of disdain for the US channel is only comparable to Kerrang! dot com's own obsession with writing-up Wentzy's every move.

Dan that is the most truthful and funny thing you've ever written on this site (Unless someone else has signed in on your name again) and I type that without a shadow of doubt.

When I saw the headline I thought Wentz and Ash were going to have there own "Newlyweds" show like Nick and Jessica. I would have watched the divorce on T.V. although I suppose Kerrang! dot com would have a good link and full write-up about it anyway.

I'm glad they're going to show the whole music videos and performances though. It must suck to do a great live performance and get cut off in your prime.

I wont watch the show even if it airs in the U.K.. MTV is hardly known for showing great rock music. I mean MTV2 is just full of Alt. Rock and songs that aren't true rock. To be honest I don't know why they have that mosher mascot (at least I think that's the angle they were going for) because I don't know any moshers who watches MTV2.

And ever since he married Ashley Simpson, all the stories have been about him. There are 3 other members in the band, you know.
