Dates confirmed for Slayer and Trivium tour

As previously reported on Kerrang! dot com, Slayer will be teaming up with Trivium for the third installment of their Unholy Alliance tour.

The mammoth trek will hit the UK iat the end of October and carry on into early November.

A full list of confirmed dates are as follows:

27 Manchester Arena, Manchester
28 NEC, Birmingham
30 Hammersmith Apollo, London
31 Hammersmith Apollo, London

November
02 CIA, Cardiff
03 SECC Hall 3, Glasgow

Personally I'd rather see Trivium than Children of Bodom, but then again I didn't jump on the bandwagon of hating Trivium 'cos its the in-thing. Trivium are up there 'living the dream' and we the arm chair critics mask our bitterness by slagging 'em off to look more 'metal'.

Slayer are great, but having seen them 5 times, Mastodon are by far the most interesting thing on the bill.
Trivium I don't like, but it's clear that they make sense being there, on a booking front.

But I agree, Carcass/Morbid angel/At The Gates should be playing. Or something Nu-School but not pop like trivium, maybe DevilDriver, Chimaira or THE FACELESS!
