Tom has a point i mean come 'on, people dont kill themselves becuase of the music they listen to. When the media face stories like these about things like suicide they just point the finger at anything just so they can get the front pages filled. They jump to conclusions and dont get the full idea of what the lyrics and the music is actually saying. My chemical romancce had told people at countless gigs to get help if they ever feel like they have no other option but self-harm and suicide, and from a first hand exerience gerard doesnt want anyone else to go through what he has been through. At the end of the day its money in their pockets so they dont give a damn fuck about what it does to bands like my chem and blink 182. If the person who had died [ r.i.p ] lkilled themselves listening to fucking rap music would they have blamed that genre ? i think not, Just because some of they songs may sound sad and somewhat depressing to some, come as inspiration those who are suicidal to get help, and that things can get better for them. All the papers do is just want money end off, so all i can say is screw them, if they want to slate music then they should do the fucking research. and get the facts right before they say anything.

Oh and one more thing, just becuase someone killed themselves listening to a song doesnt mean that it was the problem and that it made them depressed. That song could have been one that reminded them of a lost one, their friends or just memories that they want to last forever, it could have just been held special to them.

Why a battle between MCR and FOB???

Right, first off, K! we hear too much about my chemical romance these days and sorry but i don't see the tallent in this band. They are boring and try to shroud there music with a false front. They are emos! They dress, write and act like emos and if they weren't noone, especially the media would not associate them with being emo and most emos i know say they like my chemical romance.

Secondly i think most people who like my chemical romance are too afraid to admit that mcr are emo because they feel they will be looked down upon by media and others. Being emo isn't anything to do with lyrics or music its a way a person is feeling. For example, how can a love song suddenly make you fall in love if you haven't got a partner or someone of the opposite sex who feels the same way. It just doesn't make sense.
Most people who seem to listen to my chemical romance have depression and when you suffer from depression its very hard to deal with it, especially for young people and it really doesn't help someone by being called 'a cunt'.

Right let's get started, people listen to bands like MCR and AVA because they have no one else to turn to for help. This is exactly what I've gone through. I turned to A7X, MCR and SlipKnoT for sympathy and through their lyrics they gave me just that.

MCR are emo, I admit it. But what the hell is wrong with it!? I dont know what people have against Emo's! MCR don't write those sorts of songs to make their fans commit suicide, they write them so they can get their point across and all their anger out of their lives and thats understandable!

Emo isnt a style! It's a music Genre, people label themselves Emo because they havent a clue what it means. It's more scene. You make your own style, that's exactly what MCR did. The thick make up the (sometimes) depressing lyrics in their songs all come from their hearts and lives.
