Wentz: "Ashlee didn't remember meeting me"

Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz has told a US magazine that he made such an good impression on fiance Ashlee Simpson the first time they met she couldn't actually remember who he was!

The bassist claims he had to e-mail her a photo of himself to jog her memory.

"I was in the 'friend zone' with her for a good solid year," he told Us Weekly magazine. "I'd be calling her and following her around like a puppy dog."

However, Wentz clearly remembered meeting her...

"The first time we really hung out she flashed me," he blushed.

While Simpson added: "I lifted my dress over my head but it was love at first sight."

The couple are rumoured to be getting married this weekend.

Football is a minority sport in Canada and therefore easily avoided.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against football but the constant diving and falling over just ruins it for me. Stand up you cunts.

Now Ice Hockey on the other hand, that's exciting, especially when they have a punch up. They should allow that in football, I would watch it again. Players wouldn't fall over so readily knowing they might get beaten shitless.

I realise that Pete manages to get this board talking ... he creates strong emotions (mainly disgust) but please can you find some actual MUSIC news to report.

Pete doesn't appear to be able to play the bass guitar with any degree of talent from what I have seen, his sole reason for being in the band appears to be his record label.

I agree with some of the FOB fans (I'm not a fan) try to remember that this band has FOUR members ... not one. My daughter has cancelled her subscription to K! because of all the FOB/Pete Wentz coverage.

i used to think pete wentz was a freaking babe i kinda went of him when i discovered he was dating ashlee simpson, then when they got engadged i was out raged ( rymes =) ) now i would just basicly like to say how happy i am for the both of them. =]
by the way microwave man (steph) ses that sum 1 called nick is a chlamidia infested groin?? weirdo?

Dan is \"Down wit da kidz\" all the time - he sees everyone as having the attention span and intellectual capacity of a 10 year old.
He\'s wasted on Kerrang, he\'d be better off as a CBeebies presenter.

PMSL - my 10 year old has quite a long attention span ... when it comes to somethig she wants ;)

Her intellectual capacity seems to be getting better as well - she USED to like Pete Wentz - but she has grown out of that now.

Mind you having seen some of the comments posted here I can understand why Dan might think everyone has that short an attention span and intellectual capacity .... have you seen some of the spelling and sentence construction on here? Text city.
