Weiland released already!

Ex-Velvet Revolver / current Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland began his eight-day prison sentence this past Monday in Van Nuys, California only to be released at 7PM that same day!

The singer, who was arrested on November 21, 2007 for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, was sentenced to 192 hours (eight days) in county jail after pleading "no contest" in court on April 28.

However, according to his prison records, Weiland only served 10 hours of the aforementioned term in prison and only spent a mere 14 minutes of that time in a prison cell.

Would'nt have minded if he had only spent a week in prison, but 10 hours?? that's a joke!

Wonder what would happen if someone who was on drugs and drunk crashed into him? Bet they wouldn't get off so lightly, they'd probably get sent away for years

Come on guys

Come on people, you must feel for the guy, i mean, 14 minutes in a prison cell, that must've been hell by anyones standards. I cant imagine the mental torment that went through his mind, he probably sat there an considered using the toilet, he maybe even got a little worried that he might have to take a shower. can you imagine how hard that wouldve been. i wouldn't be at all surprised if he needed counselling to be able to function again in the outside world. After that length of time theres every chance he might be institutionalized and may never be able to be a fine upstanding member of the community. Thank god he didn't have to stay in there any longer, that what i say!!!

Weiland's a twat. so is the person or people that decided to let him go. he'll do wotever stupid thing he did to get himself in there again, coz he'll be in there for no time at all. yes, haylie, it really is fucking shocking.

weiland is also not that good at singing either, so if he;s banged up 4 sumin, its his talentless voice.

Yeah this is a bit stupid.
But he is an amazing singer and frontman, despite his misgivings.

So he done wrong... and keeps doing wrong.
He isnt just free from prison and thats it. He has 4 years probation too. I know that isn't mch and stuff but he is an addict, and can't help himself but take drugs. So yea he should have got off them.. he is only human after all.
