In my personal opinion...
I think Elliot Minor are a fuckin awesome band! and quite frankly, no-one really wants to hear you critsizing them! They have worked as hard as any other fucking band on the rock scene right now. No band works their arses off to be critasized!
I know everyone deserves to get their point across of the way they think on different rock bands..but...atleast try and be a bit more grown up about things.
Different people have their different opinions, and people should respect eachother for it!

Compare that shit which elliot minor.. litterally 'play' around with.... compare it to bands like 'children of bodom' or 'bullet for my valentine' or'avenged sevenfold' or my fave 'atreyu' they're real examples of real music. and that damn front man from elliot minor... same pose all the time? gets boring seeing his face all the time at the same angle, its like he never changes his pose... no idea how he changes his clothes...

but still come on... kerrang? give us real music please? it all started for bands like metalica and slipknot and machine head... real musicians again

i aint a big fan of scremo tho like the guitar riffs to the songs hate the singers

When did Kerrang! start using this section to promote up and coming bands seriously WTF! Elliot Minors what 5th single they are a good band but come on they are not rock they really shouldnt be in Kerrang they are way to commerrcial They sold out as soon as they came on the scene. I want to know what Real bands are doing. I have a wide and Varied taste of music seriously i never hear of any of the bands in this section this week apart from Elliot Minor, Feeder and Cute is what we aim for.

The Only Really well Known band in this section is Feeder and they have had a decrease in popularity recently with lack of inspiration i call for them o go on hiatus and rethink what they are doing!

and the lead singer of elliot Minor Really does have the same constant stare he even had it when i saw them live.

NEW stuff I want to hear about

fucking Slipknot.
Lostprophets (new album is supposed to be kinda metal)
More Green Day ffs
fall out boy

Ahahahaha - to the majority of Elliot Minor flamers lingering around here: The music I listen to obviously has more balls than yours. Obviously excluding 'Minor, partially because 3/4 of their fandom are made up of rabid preteens, but I still think they're skilled musicians and actually make good music.

But don't you fucking dare slag them off (who's gonna take you seriously with your illegible typing anyway?!) and then rant about the likes of A7X (Pre-City of Evil was decent, mind) and BFMV - they are fucking AWFUL. LISTEN TO PROPER METAL - and actually bother listing decent metal bands, if you're gonna bother comparing a skillful pop-rock band to a completely different set of genre, because you can't structure a proper argument.

EM aren't emo, either. Not at all, actually. Just classical pop/rock, nothing complicated about that :D Just an innocent band which obviously must seem intimidating and imposing to some of you hypocritical wankers.

So many attacks on Elliot Minor because they’re not the hard rocking metal combination of screaming vocals and drop d tuning? Sure the vocals sound a bit choir like in places [although Davies really shows the accent in his voice during Broken Minor and live in many of their songs] and so what that they grew up with money? Just because they didn’t start on the street doesn’t mean they haven’t worked as hard. Different battles to fight; they’ve had the prejudice against them to deal with; the fact that people think a predominately female preteen audience automatically means they’re shit; wide audience range ffs. Yeah, they’re not as metal as half the bands out there but a lot of people don’t grasp the difference between metal and rock…when they should.

Judge them on their talent not how rock they are compared to others.

yes, you may still think they are very talented musicians (which indeed, they are), but there really is no need to mock their fans, or their music because you're not exactly one of their biggest fans.

they've worked hard to achieve what they've acheived so far and deserve a fair chance.

it's good to have opinions on things like this, but there's no need to start insult or offending people.

I actually used to like Minor when they didnt get too big...
Coming from someone whos favourite bands are Drowning Pool, KoRn, Saliva, Story of the Year, Thrice,

But then all their songs turned dead slow, saddening and Indie, and they got too much of a cult following and now seem to be selling out :(
