Slipknot, Machine Head and Bodom team-up for European tour?
Kerrang! dot com understands that Slipknot are planning to hit the UK for a full tour at the end of the year in support of their-as-yet-untitled fourth studio album.
And, not only that, if the rumour mills are to be believed, Machine Head and Children Of Bodom will be opening for the Iowa nine piece.

Slipknot Tour
Oh Wow!
That Will Be Fucking Amazing!!
Even Though This Tour Is Worthy Of Stadiums They Should Do The Uni's And Shit Cos That'll Be Just Fucking Mental =P
That person who made the comment at the bottam saying that machine head are shit has to be the biggest dick on the plannet. I bet your one of these new age metal kids who thinks he knows about real music. I know you may not be old enough to know about these albums but have a listen to machine heads burn my eyes and the more things change. Then try and tell me they are shit.

Machine Head
Sorry, douchebag, you'd lose.
I happen to be a guy who's seen Vio-lence 3 times.
Even Nothing to Gain, as piss poor a Vio album you could get, shits all over the so called "classic" Burn My Eyes. BME a shit album, by a shit band who got even worse.
Do yourself a favor - try to get hold of Eternal Nightmare. Though it's probably too fast, too intense and too fucking maniacal thrash for you.
And once again, Machine Head are shit.

Finally, I might actually be going to some gigs this year. There are so many shit bands touring, I lost hope.
If MH are anything like what were at Download last year, I'm fucking there. And if you nearly throw up during the first song, like what happened to me at Korn in January, you know it's going to be a fucking good show.
If this is true, they better be playing Cardiff.

so fuckin wot.!youve seen vio lence 3 times ...wow!!! for the record machine head arent shit ,they are a good band.for the record vio lence too.but why all the macho talk? you remind me very much of youre average slayer fan (who by the way i have seen so many times i cant remember/and are awesome). who drones on about how heavy?fast?brutal etc. slayer are. or in youre case vio lence! so fuck . ive seen s.o.d. ,ive seen onslaught, ive seen sepultura., who were all faster and heavier than vio lence or slayer. but again so fuck you are an ego metaller who like a child insists that "my band is heavier than youres" get a life you cock. metallica are still the biggest band in the world outside of u2 and if machine head are good enough to share a stage with them then thats good enough.and b4 u go on about metallica sold out etc STOP.they didnt get were they are by selling out. they got there bcos of pure talent.they can still be as heavy as anyone else and by moving 4ward.machine head have too.so has max cavalara ie. soulfly! get a life and start appreciating talent instead of pigeon holing everything you fuckin tool.
I like Machine Head. I don\'t think you could compare them to Violence, too different. Machine Head were groove metal. Violence were just a second rate thrash act with a horrible singer. Admittedly insanely fast - probably too fast for their own good - along with that singer.
Your argument starts to lose steam though. Metallica did get where they are by selling out. They basically turened their back on everything they stood for. How often did Lars slag off thrash? They went from making music for thrashers to making music for bank managers. That\'s called selling out. They havent been heavy for 20 years. Theyre not challenging themselves - or more accurately they cant vchallenge themselves.
And as for Fat Max? The only thing heavy about Max is when he gets on the scales. The fat fool has let his wife destroy any talent he had. Him and his gay tribe. If there was enough money in it, max would do a song with MC Hammer.
\"Rap ees totally keeeler, so me an da Soulfly tribe are gonna prove U cant Touch This\"

Nah, Killian's voice was perfect for Vio-lence. He had an absolutely mental and brilliant singing style.
Eternal Nightmare is one of the greatest debuts ever, whereas Burn My Eyes was merely a good album.
And let's be honest, Machine Head did put out total shit like Supercharger and the Burning red....Flynn went through his wigga phase...
Just wish I'd got to see the Vio dudes...saw a bootleg of their Thrash of the Titans gig. Holy fuck.
And yes, if by selling out, you mean a band change their style drastically in an effort to attract more fans, then yes, Metallica did sell out. Hey, Lars did have a gold plated shark tank to buy, he needed the money :D
