Slipknot confirm Euro tour rumours

As previously reported on K! dot com, Slipknot have confirmed that they will be doing a full European tour at the edn of the year with Machine Head and Children Of Bodom in tow.

A posting on their MySpace blog reads as follows:

"Europe... Your time has come!

"After spending the summer tearing up North America on the Mayhem tour, we will finally bring our chaos to you. Joining us on this journey this time around will be Machine Head and Children of Bodom. It's been a long time coming... We know the European fans have been waiting for this. We are breathlessly waiting as well. We cannot wait to throw down with you!

"Remember, if it doesn't come from us, the choice is yours on whether or not to believe it. See you soon."

The band are as yet to confirm any dates for the tour.

Enter Shikari. Months ago my favourite band ever.Now a fading memory. My first problem is when Rou Reynolds cut his hair, i almost cried! He was scary looking on the front of K! ( the best mag ever might i add). Secondly, when are they actually going to decide to play in birmingham? Their new tour dates are rubbish. Last time they played in Wolverhampton and i oculdnt go! Please please please K! knock some sense into these gorgeous fans and get them to come here! By the way Alexisonfire are AMAZING x

This has nothing to do with enter shikari i agree with you on that. I do not agree that they are a "bunch of fucking chavs" because they arent and produce good music.

this tour is going to fu*king rock so hard! slipknot rock, COB ar really good too! and machine are fu*king brutel! saw them at the black crusade and they owned! the blackening is one of the best albums ever made! but can't wait to see slipknot give it to the maggots once more! and heres praying that Joey will do a mental drum solo on his rig again! f*ck yeah!

Ah, the pains of living in my own home

Yes this does look like an awesome tour, but weighing things up, if I go then it'll be the 5th time I've seen Slipknot. Machine Head didn't really impress me live, and I'll get to see Bodom at Download.

This against the possibility of seeing Meshuggah instead on my birthday, or indeed going to the possible In Flames + Gojira tour that might come around, and I'm afraid I might have to give this a miss. Oh well.
