Pete Wentz to get married next Friday

Can you hear that sound?

It's the collective wails of a zillion pop punk princesses sobbing because sources close to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz and pop singer Ashlee Simpson are claiming that the couple are getting hitched next Friday.

An informant told US gossip website Hollyscoop:

"The wedding invitations have been sent out, it's taking place the weekend of May 16. The location will not be revealed until the day of the wedding but guests are told it will be an hour drive from Los Angeles."

What a fast wedding. My guess is the rumours about babies might be true after all... Honestly, even though I like (or at least used to like) FOB's music, I don't give a damn what Wentzy or his playback girlfriend do. Hip hip hooray for them. Hopefully they'll go on a long honeymoon away from the public eye.
Not even I believe there's any chance of that, though.
