Pendulum to go Top 5 this weekend!

Australian dance rockers Pendulum are set to break into the UK album charts' Top 5 this Sunday with their new album In Silico.

The band, who recently relocated to London, were at the Number 1 slot in the mid-week chart reports, however due to tough competition from Madonna and Duffy it looks like they'll debut at the Number 3 slot.

In related news, the band's sold-out gig at London's Brixton Academy tomorrow night will be streamed live via their website.

It's the mid nineties all over again. Kerrang decided the Prodigy were worth covering. Then that Moprat twat announced how they were heavier than any metal band.
And the amount of hatred for metal in the magazine at that point was unreal.

Pendulum are the heaviest band I have ever seen Live. everyone on here who says they aren't suitable for Kerrang should go see them live. In the past I have scene slayer, Cradle of Filth, Mastadon etc... and these were sonicly way heavier. They are trying to do something different, and are a crossover band. Just because they aren't pure Rock, doesn't mean K shouldn't cover them. People on here are just scared of what they don't know.

Stalemate

If you had said to me just a few months back that I'd be listeining to and more to the point enjoying a D'N'B act I'd have laughed it off. But to be honest In Silico is a bloody good album.
So many bands endorse in electronics nowaday many of whom aren't picked-up and berated on because they have a more acceptable image and haven't come from a predominent urban background (i.e. SYL, Ministry, The Berzerker, Nine Inch Nails, Gary Numan, Orgy, Pitchshifter, Skinny Puppy, Marilyn Manson, Rammestein...the list goes on).

Pendulum are better live than Machine "fucking" Head...seen both....Pendulum is more catchy...the audience is more varied and will accept any type, so the atmosphere is better, they band can create an awesome hype and then blow you away.

And I don't even like drum and base.

These guys diserve to get huge.

I'm surprised.. this is actually pretty good, you know!? Certainly quite a fair bit better than a lot of the other shite you hear on the radio. Dunno what these people are chatting, tbh. Pendulum are nothing like Pitchshifter or Enter Shikari (don't get me wrong, both are fantastic bands, and i'm a massive fan of both). This is D&B/Rock, not Industrial/Metal??
