Paramore can't wait to get back over here!

Despite having a few weeks at home to recharge her batteries, Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams can't wait to get back on the road.

"Time off has ruled but I cannot wait to fly to Dublin on Saturday," writes Williams in her latest blog entry.

"I'm excited to live in a bus again... live out of a suitcase again," she continues. "What am I saying? I haven't even unpacked from last tour!"

Williams also issued an apology to fans that the band aren't really touring that much over the summer months.

"By the way, we are very sorry about the dates or lack thereof for the summer tour," she says. "We are trying to figure out anything we can do to fix it or make it up to you guys but obviously we can't just make up time if we don't have it. Bear with us and we will keep you posted. Hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of the summer. Stoked!!! See you guys soon ;)"

In the meantime, if you've got tickets, you can catch Paramore at the following venues:

04 Portsmouth, Guildhall
05 Nottingham, Rock City

FWI, our school recently had these bunch of Finnish kids over to perform a concert at our school, and this girl, I dunno, say about 13 years old? sang Hallelujah by Paramore, and fucking hell she made that Williams one sound like a fucking hillbilly underwater! Just goes to show what music these days has come to, a fucking "professional" singer outdone 50 times by a fucking 13 year old. Incredible.

My mate got tickets to see paramore for her birthday. We had them for like 6 months, then 2 days before the gig we get a letter saying they are cancelld and we have to request our money back. I thought paramore were a decent band, not the best, but worth seeing live. I have lost all respect for them. they only had 2 weeks of the tour left, yet they couldn't stick it out. If you cannot deliver to the fans( which is what being in a bands all about) do NOT fucking commit :|

Ryt its been said like 10 times before but anyway...
FFS are you paramore fans stupid? They are only doing this to not look bad for canceling tours before.
In my opinion they still look bad. Ok fair enough if a band cancel a tour for family problems cause family comes first and all that. But don't cancel tour dates because you decide to throw yer dummy out the pram and don't want to do the shows, fucking grim and bear it and at least go out there for the fans that got you there in the first place, you would be nothing without them, don't think enough bands think about that...

quite decent

I think Paramore are pretty cool, not because I'm scene, but because as a band they draw on some top influences which shine through. There's nods to Refused ("we want the airwaves back") and At the drive-in in the rhythm arrangements and spidery guitar bits which really mixes things up. And she has a top voice.

Live-wise, their Big Weekend set (which you can watch online) is pretty cool, you can't deny their opening there is decent as (albeit a bit Bloc Party).

I think the 3rd album hurdle will show us if theyve got staying power though.

i just read some other comments.

right..fair enough everybody has their own opinion..but..if i, or any other Paramore fan came onto your favourite bands page, and started leaving hate comments, you wouldnt be happy!

and..what i want to know is, why comment here if you hate them?!

Lacuna Coil, been around since 1994, Within Temptation and Nightwish been around since 1996. Epica, Leaves eyes ect ect..

Paramore are fucking new compaired to those bands, and also all of their voices are powerfull and beautifull compaired to pop likeish paramore.

No they arent.
Their isnt a best band in the world tbh.

Let me start off by saying Paramore is not a band I listen to on a daily basis, I did see them a few times, and was never really impressed, BUT.. seeing people here having a fit over them cancelling dates and not coming for shows over the summer makes me really think the following: Who the fuck do you think you are? Have you ever been on the road cooped up in a bus for 11 - 13 months straight? Playing the same set day in day out with the same obnoxious fans and media all around you? I did tours of weeks, never months and trust me, it wears you out like a mofo, so don't start saying shit until you realise how hard life on the road can be.

don't get me wrong, i think paramore are a great band, but i ordered tickets to see them, i had tickets for 6 months, and the night before the gig i got a letter saying its been cancelled, we were travelling for miles to see them, and paid loads of money for train tickets.
They lost loads of fans and respect off people for cancelling their tour when they only had 2 weeks left, hayley williams spat her dummy out. X

Paramore have to be one of the greatest bands I've seen live.

Their engery onstage is amazing, one of the few bands out there who deliver the same sound, if not better, than that off their CD
