You simply cannot have a UK tour...

..and not go to Glasgow!

Its pretty much rock law!

Shame on them.

yeah but there's no manchester or birmingham dates either, arguably two of the biggest cities in the UK for music venues

reason?

well its obvious that ES want to play some places that they or most bands havent played, i.e hastings, landudno, peterborough etc. And it's just no physically possible to fit in every city on a tour, because of distance and venue availability.

But as i guess most people wont read this there will be a lot of ...'OH MY GODZ, WHY INT U PLAYIN '(insert city here'???? THAT SUX, I H8 U'

Yeah, ur right, i kind of spat the dummy there. lol...just strange is all. Its great they are playing intimate gigs though, shows alot of character.

Also, ''DIY Dance Metal''?? is all music not DIY? plus they arent metal. Sounds like something the Daily Mail would write, lol

i wouldn't say all the dates are intimate. i mean they're playin Norwich UEA, for the 3rd time in like 18 months.
But yeah, i expect they will play larger venues in Glasgow, Manchester etc in '09

have to say wish it was in birmingham... but never mind

rather see them at a harder-to-get-to location than not at all!

Fantastic Tour Dates

They are no intimate gigs- they are some of their biggest headline gigs to date like Bournemouth and Newport and Nottingham- probably only bigger one was Brixton. Also if you are real fans you'll travel anywhere- this is a massive tour can you honestly say you live near none of these places? It is a fantastic range of venues and so many in Scotland which is unusual for English bands- and Glaswegians are still complaining! Just travel its not difficult! Enter Shikari not remotely metal? anyone who thinks that is an ignorant idiot. plus there are so many parallels between metal and trance music, for example the sheer energy. I can't believe how many idiots post on here.

we only had a month to do this tour in, and sometimes things don't work out. sorry guys.

we also wanted to go to some places we haven't been to for a while and spread the love around a bit."
