Ex-Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland has been found guilty in his on-going driving under the influence case.
The vocalist, who was not present for sentencing at Los Angeles' Superior Court yesterday, entered a plea "no contest" through his attorney, Anthony Brooklier, and was been sentenced to 192 hours (eight days) in county jail.
Weiland was also ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol program and pay almost $2,000 in fines. The singer, who has until May 28 to serve the sentence, is also on four years probation.
