Ok, the band have changed a lot. And 'when you're gone' really sucked, but you have to give this song a bit of credit..

when you're gone was awesome, but this rocks. it was my fav song from the album so im glad its the 2nd single.

It's a great video clip. Simple Plan have changed alot but i think the change is going to take them to places they have never been. It's good to see them change because they want to, regardless of what others think.
I love this song. It's amazing both lyrically and musically. And the video clip is rad. All the guys seem a lot more mature and Pierre has awesome hiar these days.
When I first got this album the day it was released, I fell in love with this song. In my opinion, it's the best song on the album.

Haven't heard much of their new stuff, but that song was awesome and so was the video.
Simple Plan, like loads of other bands, have grown up, and definately changed for the better.
Now I've definately gotta get the new album... :)
I fink simple plan have changed quiet a lot, but they have grown up alot more as well so u gtta give them credit.
Got tickets to c them at manchester academy for easter so 4 more days till i c them agen xD

I actually like this song..
I'm not the biggest fan of SP, but this is rather good, even though I only just watched the vid..
When I'm Gone got played to death here on Kerrang!..And it grated on me after a while..
Your Love Is A Lie is refreshing and more grown up..And it will make a change from Shut Up and Welcome To My Life..
Simple Plan haven't changed that much. The music is pretty much the same sort of stuff, pop punk. They were the 1st band that got me into my rock ways (like heavier stuff as well). When I was 16, addicted was the first song I heard (listened to pop back then), loved them then and still do. I'm seeing them at the Astoria next Friday and I think it will be really good. They may not be the best band in the world, but they are a good band none the less and are great at what they do ! xXx

Defo the best song off the new album.
Even though they have grown up quite a bit their music hasnt really changed, its just a bit more mature. You know instead of the likes of Im Just A Kid and Welcome To My Life, its more adult-ish. Lol but i know everyone has different opinions so whatever =]

ok i have absolutely nothing against sp actually i reaaly like them but now it just seems like Pierre wants all the fame and their music is more HipHop and its not even bad music but it just doesn't suit them like wen Brittany Spears shaved her hair of and made her head look huge but thats not the point.
And i even agree with te motherfucker above wen she says Sp r fucking awesme.

Simple plan BRISTOL CARLING ACADEMY 21/4/08
One of THE best concerts ever. The atmosphere was truely fucking amazing even before simple plan apeard. The great rock/indie/pop punk band CAGE THE ELEPHANT all the way from kentucky supported Simple Plan, with kick-ass dance moves and brand new beats they really got the crowd bouncing in the air and clapping, maybe it was the crazy dance moves or the talk of kentucky fried chicken and potatoes or the sheer music, either way by the end of Cage The Elephant's act the crowd was well geard up and ready. when Simple Plans hearthrobe Pierre Bouvier (chuck) walked out on stage the entire crowd started chanting "SIMPLE PLAN, SIMPLE PLAN!!" everybody started going mental when they started strumming the first notes to When i'm gone. Simple Plan played there entire new album 'Simple Plan' and some of there old stuff such as there first hit single ' I'd do anything' 'Addicted' and 'perfect'. After many hours of, sweaty bodys, screaming fans and insaine attempts at crowd surfing, Simple Plan left the Bristol Carling Academy for the third time and we all returned with aching bodies back to our holes in society. Truely amazing gig.

Simple plan are AMAZING.
This is a brilliant video, anyone who doesn't like them now isn't a true fan anyway.

love the new cD i was suprised cos they changed a lot but u know wot, it was for the best i saw them live nd they r better than ever cant wait 2 see them again,
my mate who had never heard of them said she'd come with me 2 see the concert so that i wouldnt go alone she listened to the new cd and learned it so that she could join in at the concert, she loved it so much, she is like more obssesed than me now, thats all she talks about shes bought all of the cds nd she says that "if they where given the change in the Uk, everyone would love them" the prob is that on most magazines nd music TV programs only major bands go on, which is why i stick to other countries MTV.
they r amazing nd of course they have to change, dunno if u've noticed they arent 18 r they? so of course they arent gona sing how they took their dads car and broke it, they r gona sing some more grown up songs, which is wot should happen the band is growing, and there musics really helped me nd still r the new cd really made me think a lot, nd it relates so much 2 my life now nd whats happening around me, SP will never stop being amazing.... there songs will last forever.

I adore Simple Plan.
I think they really are one of the best bands to ever grace the planet.
And one of the few bands who actually treat their fans like actual people!
And David Desrosiers is seriously one of the best bass players, ever!
His basslines are incredible.
He's a really awesome guy :D
When I saw them live a few months ago, I was like, "Woah, they're fucking incredible!" I was jumping around like crazy!
I know Kerrang, and two thirds of Britain's population probably hates them, but in my opinion, they're incredible.
