Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has become the face of US discount supermarket Wal-Mart's new summer fashion brand Op.
The four stringer is joined in the campaign by young Hollywood stars Rumer Willis, Kristin Cavallari, Christina Milian, Josie Maran, Corbin Bleu and Wilmer Valderrama.
"Everyone can wear Op and its cool," says wentz. "Fashion should make you comfortable and that is what Op does."
A spokesperson for Wal-Mart's UK operation was unable to comment whether or not the chain would be rolling out the Op brand in it's Adas stores.
In any case, you can watch the TV advert for Op, featuring Wentzy, below:

Haha! Pete Wentz is NOT hot...
Try looking up bands with really good looking band members like Kamelot (Roy Khan), Epica (Simone Simons), Nightwish (Anette Olzon), L'Amme Immortal (both of em!)
PETE WENTZ IS A RETARDED FAG. HE THINKS HE IS COOL BUT HE IS NOT AND HE THINKS THAT HIS DEPRESSION WAS SO HARD WHEN IT OBVIOUSLY WASN'T CONSIDERING HE SURVIVED. GROW UP PETE WENTZ - MY MATES HEART NEARLLY STOPPED BECASUE SHE TRIED TO KILL HER SELF SO FUCK OFF AND DIE

celebrity endorsements really fucking piss me off. like this bloke needs the extra millions they will have paid him. i myself work for walmart or asda as its called over here and i slave my bollocks off and work hard just to earn a crust through the night and here comes this cunt and earns more for like a 30 second advert than i will in a year, when its people like me that keep the bastard store running in the first place.
it makes me so fucking livid.

For once, I agree with every word you said.
No more celebrity endorsements, and no more of these pointless 'news' about Wentz, please.

Lol, that advert was stupid and made no sense. It reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Homer and Mel Gibson make a film together, and Homer makes the intro to the film twice as fast as the rest of the film for no reason. All they need now to compliment that advert is a shifty eyed dog who no one will suspect.......

I totally agree with you andymark
It's like the Reece Witherspoon one for Avon. Are we really supposed to believe they use this shit?

They are a right bunch of fuckers with questionable labour tactics and their own form of censorship, they won't stock this game or that CD.
I refuse to buy anything from their stores, unfortunately most people couldn't care less, as long as it's cheap.....

Well, I like Fall Out Boy and everything, but Pete-up-his-own-arse-Wentz annoys the shit out of me.
I mean, seriously - what. is. the. point.
As if he doesn't have enough money already anyway. Or if he had nothing to do he could go and do something WITH THE REST OF THE BAND for a change.
I never thought he could stoop any lower, but he has officially out-pricked himself.
Boo to you, 'Wentzy'.
