Kids In Glass Houses and Kill Hannah for Download!

The Wildhearts, Kids In Glass Houses, Slaves To Gravity, Black Tide and Kill Hannah have confirmed their appearances at Download 2008 at Donington on June 13-15.

"It's great to finally play Download," Ginger tells K!. "Just wait until the fans of those other bands hear our lot! They're gonna fucking shit themselves and not know what the fuck is going on."

Kids In Glass Houses are equally excited to play the festival for the second time.

"When we played last year, we went down shockingly well," vocalist Aled Phillips recalls. "Our tent was absolutely rammed, so it was really humbling and exciting for us. To play again is amazing."

"We're fucking delighted to be playing the world's premier rock festival," adds Slaves To Gravity frontman Tommy Gleeson. "We're honoured to join the legions of legendary artists who have rocked Donington over the years. Bring it on!"

Rising Floridians Black Tide are relishing sharing the stage with their metal heroes.
"Playing Download is a real honour!" says frontman Gabriel Garcia. "It just makes it that much better getting to play with the likes of Judas Priest, Motîrhead and Kiss!"

The three-day, Kerrang!-sponsored fest will also feature sets from a newly reunited Rival Schools, Zebrahead, Haunts, Canterbury, Invasion, Twin Method and Amon Amarth.

The Kerrang!-sponsored Download festival will be headlined by: Kiss, The Offspring and Lostprophets.

The full list of other bands on the bill so far is as follows:

This announcement is all about 4 bands

The Wildhearts, Amon Amarth, Skindred and Black Tide. All of whom are quality acts.

Rival Schools are alright but I won't be seeing them. The rest I either haven't heard of or simply don't like. But I don't care, cos those 4 bands will lay many other bands to waste this year!

And for the record, Kill Hannah were never in today's announcement - you've let that one slip! Not only that, but their singer is terrible.

Never mind though - its common knowledge that Saxon are playing too. Real metal all the way!

Quite like Slaves To Gravity and Black Tide.
But I'd seen Black Tide three times already so I'm not too bothered.
Only bothered about Leeds fest anyway.

KILL HANNAH 4 DOWNLOAD, YAY

Yay, Kill Hannah!!! I love Kill Hannah and it would be GREAT if they came to Australia.

Pretty good line up though, with not only Kill Hannah but as well as Rise Against and Biffy Clyro.
