This weeks magazine sounds a bit rubbish i'm afraid to say. Come on Kerrang, no one likes FOB anymore. Pete Wentz is nothing more than an arrogant c*nt. Let's get some more good bands in there, how about a bit of Atreyu or Funeral For A Friend again?! Sort it out!

fall out boy are awesome if you were ever a fan you were obviously just jumping on the band wagon. i'm a fan of many bands some of which do not even exist any more i.e. queen, system of a down,blur,iron maiden ect. so there!

Oh great, another ego boast for the biggest nob head in the business, we really don't need to hear the shit he usually spews out. On another note, good to see a decent article of Finch in there and the Hail Destroyer by Cancer Bats better a good review as its definitely one of best records of the year so far, also people need to listen to Dead Swans (who are featured in the 'Introducing..' bit) there ones to watch, such a class act

i'm not really into fall out boy and i don't really like pete wentz but ya know have a little respect for them, people ovbiously like them enough to make them go to all 7 continents so saying that they're rubbish is a bit of an exaggeration don't you think? people still buy the magazine, and its not always about who the cover is on, theyre posters inside and things about over bands and stuff. kerrang isnt made entirely of one article, and they do their best, maybe they just think thats who they should cover this week. so be patient and soon something good will come along. just have some respect for other bands, even if you dont like them.

Dear Kerrang,
As a loyal reader i buy the magazine every week. But this week, i was ashamed to go to the counter of co-op and face the lady at the counter, just because of the person on the cover.
I am not saying that i dislike Pete in anyway, in fact i am a fan of Fall Out Boy and havent been irritated by Pete until lately.
Honestly? No one cares what he thinks. I think people would actually start to care if it wasnt just him. Its a bit predictable what Pete is going to say these days. Yes, he is a human being, yes everyone can express their opinion. But he isnt the only person whos opinion counts. Im not telling you how to run the magazine, but dont you think readers would just be happy with a little article instead of the main spread this week?
I never knew Fall Out Boy was just him to be honest.

im talking about the slipknot story above 'somethign wicked this way comes' is taken from 'will someone shoot that fucking snake' by gallows.

and also a few issues back you did a story on black tide and used the title 'young, dumb and full of cum' which is from 'Damaged goods' by SSS.

nothing against this, but especially in the last case you should be giving SSS some credit for that, especially as they're not covered enough in kerrang anyways

i used to really love pete but i agree that he has turned into an arrogant c*nt now. im not saying i hate him i just dnt like him anymore. i buy kerrang religiously and was quite pissed off that the feature was all on pete. its just getting annoying now, pete can have his opinion but i dont see why it has to be the feature, i want to see more variations of bands because right now its revolving around the same few bands.

im an FOB fan. true, Infinity On High was not their best work, but it had high points, and From Under... is one of my fave albums, but Pete Wentz IS a cam whore. Im sure hes a nice guy but who wud i rather see on the cover, Pete Wentz half naked or Knot covered head to toe in overalls and masks?

1) It was unnecessary to point out how "pretty" Elliot Minor are. Maybe they are, but that shouldn't deter from the rating the album got in your magazine a couple of weeks ago (I was positively surprised by it when I listened to it today having bought it yesterday.) Do you remember all the fuss regarding your journo and Elliot Minor six months ago? Maybe I'm overreacting but still, the fact that they are "pretty" should just be ignored. I thought you rated the music. Shame.

And:

2) Next time you push the price up, could you tell us in the previous issue please, like you did when it was pushed up to £1.99? I came from GCSE Music coursework catchup to the shop with £2.10 exactly only to find it was £2.20. Anyway. Could you PLEASE tell us next time as just an act of courtesy to a reader who has been reading since September 2004 when she was a Y8, who only gets £2 pocket money and has to scrounge the rest for herself?

Kerrang!'s price does seem to be going up in a very short space of time, i do agree they should have warned us and hoping the prices stays at £2.20 and dosent increase.

Oh and Pete Wentz again, i used to love em but now and getting sick of hearing about pete each week from world record attempts to working at wal mart, who cares?

To get this out the way: yes Pete is a prima dona but the other members have admitted that they don't mind him taking up the limelight...he's not a bad kid..

that aside I don't get it anymore...

is it just about getting as many issues off the shelf now? How about introducing kids to something new...

there's so much great talent in the UK underground metal scene that hasn't even been given a look in anymore.. don't these bands derserve a chance too?

the only band you have featured that I am in full support for is Johnny Truant lately, but for once why couldn't bands like this grace your covers? is it merely down to selling power?

I thought kerrang was about the music? if you still are prove it I say, get a good UK metal band on your cover (not bulet for my valentine) put Johnny Truant on, they've been around for nearly 10 years now, and are still amazing, and the most genuine guys I've come across

bands like this deserve recognition, lets remember what kerrang is about

pete wentz does not chose wether he is interviewed it's the companies decision so why moan about pete when it's kerrang fault (buit i love pete wentz anyway) if kerrang wanted to interview the whole of fall ut boy they would but they just want to interview pete because he's more popular and even if they did vote the whole of fall out boy pete wentz would prob get most of the questions
