Love/Hate this weeks kerrang

To be honest I don't like this weeks Kerrang because you hardly put HIM in Kerrang anymore like you used to.
Because now all I see is Paramore, Elliot Minor, My Chemical Romance etc. So please can you put HIM is more of your Kerrang magazines.

christ kerrang, do you actually cover anything that's not mainstream. some coverage on the real bands might be nice, the best issue for a while was the dillinger escape plan cover, now it's my chem, fall out cock and you me at 6 just about engulfing the whole magazine, just reading alot of the comments above me, most comments either mention how brilliant you me at 6 or madina lake are, it's all been done before for fucks sake! converge, refused, dillinger, Planes mistaken for stars and Clutch, they're the real legends not these pop punk fuckers who stick to the same 3 chords get 3K reviews and still get tonnes of coverage because it's what the public likes, i'll probrably still read kerrang, and noone will read this at least go back to what really matters, not fashion, not the ''poster boys'', no not even the fringes. THE FUCKING MUSIC, Life is loud my arse, it seems life is 3 chords with some floppy fringed boy crooning over it.

Kerrang covers a lot of different genres. I know there is a lot of mainstream stuff, but I enjoyed the recent Meshuggah feature.

I LOVE you Kerrang for the Kill Hannah poster that I can finally now stick on my wall! YAY it's so beautiful with my collection of other Kerrang posters!!!

THANKS for also putting Against Me! on the front cover they rock the punk out of me!!! All you need now is to put Rise Against on the cover then I'll be very very happy.

All these bands are amazing and I've been a fan of these bands since the beginning and they are still creating such exceptionally great music till this day. It just proves that Punk Rock isn't really dead and that it still lives on so that proves that T-shirt that I saw last week wrong. The shirt said 'Punk's dead.' Umm...Well I think not!!!

A DAY TO REMEMBER

please please focus some more on one of the best up and coming bands that have graced our pastures already and will do again very soon, most noteably at 'Download' and that is the most hardcore pop punkers around that is 'A DAY TO REMEMBER'.
Incredible live band and more people should acknowledge their sheer talent!!!

Why Kerrang!? Why must you insist of giving four amazing posters in one week, all on the DOUBLE PAGES and put Angels And Airwaves on the single page?? Benedictum

Benedictum are an awesome band from San Diego, which apart from the small album reviews,haven't featured in the magazine.
I would love to see them in the pages of Kerrang...Introducing...would be great.
I started a Benedictum for Download campaign which has gained pretty good support and they really,really deserve a slot at the hallowed Donington turf especially with the likes of Ash, Pendulum and Elliot Minor getting booked!!

You know what i've noticed, HIM only ever appear in the magazine and never on TV. Only time he did appear is when they made the kiss of dawn video and on the 100 best rock bands ever (which i'm not too impressed with My CRAPPY romance getting 1st place.) 100 best rock bands ever is only an event so that doesn't count and they only showed kiss of dawn because it was a newly made video! HIM have made tons of videos, much more than mcr, elliot minor or anyone else, so please put more HIM on TV.

Get rid of the unecessary language

My 12 year old son has been buying your magazine for a few months now and i picked it up this afternoon and flicked through it since he had left it on the table and i must say i was appalled! why do you need to keep the swearing and bad words in and not blank them out? im sure they're a very bad example to a lot of children who read this magazine, and especially this coming from people and bands they really look up to makes it worse since it could be giving them the wrong ideas about life and how to go about it, i'm very disgraced by your magazine and am stopping my son from purchasing Kerrang anymore.

Hey... When Aiden played in Dublin on the 31st of March this year they had three supporting acts : Kill hannaH, Brigade and Serpico... I've seen lots of Brigade and Kill hannaH stuff in Kerrang magazine and it would be great if you guys could do something on Serpico!! They're on myspace at www.myspace.com/serpicoband... well to be perfectly honest
this week addition is certanly not going to go down as a favoured issue of kerrang, only pleased with one poster, being good charlotte. I buy this magazine every week and i've recognised people decline because of the lack of metal bands, 2 weeks ago there was a articly on bullet for my valentine and avenged sevenfold, but thats all ive seen in a while, i'd ilso appreciate a bit less of the "so called rock bands" such as simple plan etc, and more posters of more will known artist/bands like linkin park, bullet for my valentine etc....

More Smashing Pumpkins, Tool and Queens Of The Stone Age please.

ok, so im from new zealand and im lovin kerrang, but we are waaaay behind...the edition out this week was the 50 Albums You Must Hear in 2008...enough said.

Can you please put a massive fuck off poster of mellon collie era smashing pumpkins in the next issue, even though i wont get it for another 3 months or so.

And i agree with all the 'rock' being covered in K! at the moment. MCR, FOB, Paramore Panic At The Disco, 30 Seconds To Mars are alright, but theres only so much one can take.

Id really appreciate it if you put more smashing pumpkins, tool and quuens of the stone age in your mag.

oh, and if anyone is interested in good rock/alternative new zealand music, check out The Mint Chicks, The Checks, Die! Die! Die! and Shihad.

SIMPLE PLAN CONCERT REVIEW 21/4/08

One of THE best concerts ever. The atmosphere was truely fucking amazing even before simple plan apeard. The great rock/indie/pop punk band CAGE THE ELEPHANT all the way from kentucky supported Simple Plan, with kick-ass dance moves and brand new beats they really got the crowd bouncing in the air and clapping, maybe it was the crazy dance moves or the talk of kentucky fried chicken and potatoes or the sheer music, either way by the end of Cage The Elephant's act the crowd was well geard up and ready. when Simple Plans hearthrobe Pierre Bouvier (chuck) walked out on stage the entire crowd started chanting "SIMPLE PLAN, SIMPLE PLAN!!" everybody started going mental when they started strumming the first notes to When i'm gone. Simple Plan played there entire new album 'Simple Plan' and some of there old stuff such as there first hit single ' I'd do anything' 'Addicted' and 'perfect'. After many hours of, sweaty bodys, screaming fans and insaine attempts at crowd surfing, Simple Plan left the Bristol Carling Academy for the third time and we all returned with aching bodies back to our holes in society. Truely amazing gig.

Against YOU!

Seriously, looking through the comments and seeing only one actual comment about Against Me! is a pretty poor outcome, people seriously need this band in there lives, they've been working there arses off years and finally being paid off, alright so most of that goes down to the major record but thats a good thing (not in a lot of peoples cases, for obvious reasons) as it gives there music a bigger platform for people to give it a listen and to like it. Also, Cancer Bats new album Hail Destroyer is absolutely brillant, they deserve a hell of a lot more exposure then there getting, the up coming UK tour is going to be intense to say the least

Love/Hate this weeks Kerrang

This week was ok. Last week was better.
I read that article last week on Elliot Minor and thought I'd atleast give them a chance. Still think they are pop shit tbh. To say that the listeners of muse would like them was quite frankly an insult to muse fans worldwide. A bit too much paramore and Aiden. Nice to see MSI this week though. They rock.
