Fall Out Boy bassist to become a father?

The internet was rife with speculation yesterday when a US-based gossip magazine reported that Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz and fiance Ashlee Simpson are expecting.

People magazine claim the couple - who announced their engagement last week - are planning to get married at a private ceremony in Southern California in May ahead of the rumoured birth in October.

During a taping of MTV's TRL yesterday, Simpson, 23, dodged questions about her alleged pregnancy saying that if the rumours were true "I'd have had a baby by now".

"I just think it's an inappropriate question to ask any woman," Simpson added. "For me, that's something that I didn't ever want to respond to, because I think it's an inappropriate question.

"Some things, you want to keep personal, and I think that when people deny things, it's probably because it's something they want to keep personal."

Wentzy blasted the pregnancy rumours as a "witch hunt."

For a start, you misspelled "girl", deliberate misspellings are not big or clever.

Secondly, if you hate Pete Wentz/Fall Out Boy so much, why in God's name did you click on the freakin' link for this article when it clearly says : "Fall Out Boy bassist to become a father?" Why waste your time reading about a band you obviously dislike, don't you have anything better to do? This thread is obviously going to be read by Fall Out Boy fans, so if you're only interested in slagging them off and offending their fans, go elsewhere to do it instead of trying to stir up some internet drama. Aren't there some words you can go misspell somewhere? Geez. Read about things that interest you! By clicking on this link, you are giving Kerrang the impression that these events are news worthy, and as long as they feel these stories are getting attention, they will continue to print them. So if you don't like it, don't encourage it. Read about the bands that interest you, read a dictionary, get off the web and go outside or something!
