DragonForce dates!

Why aren't they coming to the civic in wolverhampton! We have a brilliant venue and they don't bother to come.

This tour is what dreams are made of! I've got to go to the Leeds date. Both bands kick ass live, this will be one of the tours of the year for sure.

i havn't ranted for a while so here we go..... two shit bands of the worst genres (viking, power metal) i've had nightmares that were more welcoming.

both crappy bands , saw dragonforce on the black crusade tour , they were crap and was constant machine head chants through all their songs.

dragonofrce live = badly out of tune , full of themselves , just general carrying on.

this tour is gonna suck ;)

Obviously things are never good enough for people on this site, unless it includes the words 'Fall Out Boy'.

Stop being so bloody closed minded. If you don't like them, fine, but I think a few thousand people will say you're wrong about Turisas, esp. based on their Download 2007 performance. Dragonforce are fantastic live and have at least put the UK back on the metal map in some respect in terms of the European scene at least.

I'm not surprised Dragonforce got shit on the Black Crusade tour, as they were the proverbial black sheep of the line-up. In their own setting, away from more closed-minded fools, they're one of the best around and I'll definitely be at this tour.

Ok here we go! I suppose I should chime in with my opinion... Personally I'm not the biggest Dragonforce and Turisas fan in the world but I do respect them unlike the fu*ktards at the black crusade gigs.

I went to the birmingham leg of the tour and machine head fans chanted through every bands set and even as a huge machine head fan i thought it was disrespectful!!! Trivium and Arch Enemy we're both fu*king awesome and kicked ar*e!!! Dragonforce we're brilliant too!, completely different from the rest of the bands on show but equally good.

Pro's and con's would be... a let down due to the drummer drowning the rest of the band out at times... but only a technical issue... pro... Herman Li is a shredding legend!!! Personally I shall be going to this tour in Southampton, Hoping sound will be better and that Herman Li destroys all before him again!

i watch both of the bands at download last year and they were amazing.

listening to Turisas at 10 in the morning really is the best way to wake up and Dragonforce are insane live

Machine heads first album was pure brilliance then they became all nu metal mallcore shit, who else was on the "black crusade" trivium i think? one of the biggest insults to metal who has a following of emo children who dont understand what thrash metal is, and then arch enemy which is mediocre melodic death metal easily eaten up by scene kids and vastly inferior to carcass. Dragonforce is far and i mean far from the epitome of power metal but they are still a pretty good band with good solid riffs (what power metal if not all metal is built upon) and turisas are higlights of symphonic folk metal. People who diss those two bands for ebing shit and pussies or whatever dont know anything about metal, of which nu metal, metalcore and half the shit out of kerrang is not part. Just coz some guy with a trendy ahircut starts shouting sounding pissed off isnt metal its fucking childish and not extreme in the slightest. All true metal genres are great in different ways but you cant expect anyone looking on a kerrang website to know shit all about metal, theyre the sort who think metal is the "metal" section in hmv and walk around in their skinny black jeans and sideswept haircuts
