Chinese Democracy gets canned!

In a bid to get Axl Rose to release his long-awaited album Chinese Democracy, Dr. Pepper have promised everyone in the US - excluding former guitarists Slash and Buckethead - a free can of their fizzy drink if it hits the shelves this year.

"It took a little patience to perfect Dr Pepper's special mix of 23 ingredients, which our fans have come to know and love," says Jackie Alt, director of marketing. "So we completely understand and empathise with Axl's quest for perfection - for something more than the average album. We know once it's released, people will refer to it as 'Dr Pepper For The Ears' because it will be such a refreshing blend of rich, bold sounds."

Not in the real world, however. But still, Axl, even rapper Tupac Shakur has released eight albums since his death in 1996.

soo dr peper don't have any worries becuase they won't need to give out millions of cans becuase it won't ever come out

But

But would you really wan't to write the Bible?

I mean... even a fair lot of Christians ignore that now as it is so contradicting.

Anyway - it won't come out. It wo't be original. If he had done it straight away, he could have got away with it. But now everyone is anticipating something "good"

Axl may be an asshole but Guns N Roses have made some of the greatest rock songs of all time, and remain to this day an intriguing live act, which can't be said about the current flavours of the week.

I'll stick my neck out and say that if this album sees the light of day, I'd hand over a tenner for it.

guns and roses were popular in the 80s, and their music's still good, however, i think axl should clear off the scene now.. it'd only work with the guys from the band, and now that they're with velvet revolver, it's just a bust.
i dont think this album will make it out this year, so people should get over it.

Let's face it...

Its not gonna happen is it?

Even if it does do you really think it will sound decent without the likes of Slash in it anymore?

I don't think so...
