THE AUDITION HAVE RECENTLY ANNOUNCED THEY WILL BE HITTING THE STAGE AT THIS YEAR’S GIVE IT A NAME. WITH A FULL-LINE UP NOW NEARLY IN PLACE, WHICH BAND WILL RULE THE FESTIVAL?

By far it is going to be 30 seconds to mars, without a doubt, they know how to own a stage like no other band does, yea i reckon paramore will give it a good try but no one can compare to 30seconds to mars! i mean they put on a show like its their last ever!
the only reason im going is for them!! peace out!

dudes they fucking rock, theyr music is amazing and theyr great live, all my mates think so aswell.
although im psitive paramore and thirty seconds will rule aswell, as they are headlining for a reason.
But not really into the audition, so not too fussed about them being confirmed to be honest, only going for the above bands (and some of the others obviously)

I think that 30 Seconds to Mars will put on an amazing live show, and I'm sure that Paramore will also. Those two bands will rule the festival!

Even though there's two great main bands
Paramore and 30 seconds
but the second stage is looking much fucking better the audition all time low my american heart you me at six four year strong

main stage is good paramore 30 seconds
the blackout cobra starship
but the second stage is just great for young bands like you me at six the audition all time low four year strong if i was going i know what stage i would go too great line up!

Paramore is the best band there for me! Although i am also going to it to see other bands too Haha.
But best band of them is Paramore.

Without a shadow of a doubt it will be 30 Seconds to Mars. No band on that lineup comes close to their stage presence and atmosphere. Not just 'cause of Jared, their songs are led by Shannon more than anything and he's an animal on stage.

The band that will rule the festival will be Finch. They're awesome, no other band on the bill comes close.

I'm sure I heard Silverstein were playing, but maybe that was some other fest. If they play, they'll own everybody's face.

I didn't think that Parmore had what it takes to headline a festival when the line-up was announced. But After seeing them in Brixton back in feburary i think they will rule the festival hands down.

Chiodos will own the festival hands down! It's a shame they aren't playing any shows here by themselves, as I'm probably not going to GIAN this year due to its majorly pop-punk lineup.

Four Year Strong might be the first band on, but they're gonna blow the weaklings away, and warm the rest up for the mighty Glassjaw. Chiodos will rule the other day, giving Finch the task of living up to them, which they'll come very close to.

Burning Question - Gian!

Yikes! This is a tough one but i'd definitely have to say 30 seconds to mars or mayday parade. I saw 30 seconds to mars live @ the hammersmith apollo in febuary and they were absolutely amaaaaazing live. mayday parade are a real fun, energetic punk band who will get the crowd jumping. its a tough one : )

So far I reckon 30 Seconds to Mars will rock the weekend, with Glassjaw or Finch close runners up. But did you see the fake lineup that buzzed around the web before the real one was announced? it had Sum 41 as headliners....now they WOULD have rocked!

The Blackout will absolutely OWN this festival. It's out of the question. They ARE the UK's biggest new rising band. Give them a few years and everyone will know them for their fantastic music. Who's 30STM? You can't even mosh to their music.

Well Billy Talent were one of the first proper gigs I went to and it was sweaty and I got so bruised and they were fucking awesome!! Can't wait to finally see them again they will definitely be a highlight!!

The burning question about GIAN

The festival with all the great bands will rule but the band that will stand out extra is 30 Seconds to Mars, with their incredible talant and presence on stage there is no doubt that they will rule the festival.
Their music is absolutely fantastic and goes straight to your soul.

It's going to be 30 Seconds To Mars.

They're the nicest, most decent band you could wish for. They meet their fans after EVERY gig, they don't need security and they're just lovely people in the entirety of them.

...maggot for life. 30STM are NOT overrated, I don't know how you could say that as being a fan of them, and is it really their fault that they're overplayed? All of this "they're turning mainstream" shit's pissing me off.

..Firstly, why do Plain White Tees even appear in Kerrang!?

And secondly.. anyone else notice how some of the more poppy-sounding of today's pop-punk bands are getting a little too big for their boots? Case in question 30STM and Paramore. Paramore having cancelled a kajillion shows, and 30STM frontman Jared Leto apparently starting a fight with Elijah Woods because Elijah doesn't listen to his band?

It's not such a good lineup this year. I feel let down :(

finch obviously, they were around well before any of the others even formed. im sorry to say but all the other bands are shite. as for up and coming talent, dont make me laugh- its amazing how much generic rubbish still gets lapped up after years of the same formulaic music. go and listen to the big scary monsters roster before the whole of the next generation thinks its okay to be a by the numbers emo band.

Paramore are gonna be the best band there. They were awesome when I saw them in Jan befoe all the mess. Everything will be sorted by then I'm sure. The people who slag Paramore are those who have never seen them live and are too stubborn to admit they are wrong and accept that they are actually an awesome live band. One of the best shows I've been to, so GIAN set will be wicked too.
