Nirvana trainers on the way

Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain is the inspiration for a new line of Converse trainers in celebration of the shoe company's 100-year anniversary.

The sneakers are black and white, and some feature artwork and words from the singer's notebooks.

They're actually really cool shoes...especially the white ones with the scribbling on them.

It's a shame they're gonna cost like a hundred pounds a pair.

As a big Nirvana fan, I don't really have anything against this, as I did with the Kurt Cobain action figure, this is actually a pretty cool idea. I'm not buying them though, can't be arsed.

Ok i love converse but I think wearing shoes that commerorate a dead rock legend is a bit stupid and its a good example of how you can get absolutely anything with a band on now. Some people wear stuff not because of the band but its what everybody else does.

yeah, kurt would be proud of all of you. it's one thing that converse are now owned by nike, but with 'kurt cobain converse' you u all really fell for the coporate marketing. spend ur money on something worthwhile FFS
