NIN are the pinicle of inspiration, and what they are doing is new to the music business, MCR are just like 'oh we'll make a shitty pop-punk record and sell out just so we can get some money'. Trent cares about his fans, and wants them to get music without forking out for it. He's actually giving his fans an option rather than just 'buy this or your not having anything different'

yep, kerrang sucks, but then so have at least 2 out of the last 3 NIN albums.

don't get me wrong, i think NIN are one of the best bands around, but TDS was undoubtedly their best record and they haven't got close to that since. I hope the new album is good, but I'm not expecting much.

I think industrial and all of it's sub-genres contains some of the most interesting music around, it's just a pity that there is so much shit to sift thru to get to the good stuff.
