Linkin Park for K!-sponsored mega-gig!

Linkin Park will bring their annual Projekt Revolution tour to the UK with a Kerrang!-sponsored one-off show at Milton Keynes Bowl on June 29.

The festival-style show is set to feature a set by rapper Jay-Z, who collaborated with the band on the 2004 release Collision Course, with more acts to be announced in coming weeks.

Tickets are on sale now from www.aloud.com.

Evanescence will not support. They have finished touring for The Open Door.

They do need to do a proper tour of the UK if they release a new album. Last time round was pathetic. One London show (they cancelled Manchester) and then Download.

a) its no longer metal, i like other types of rock but download is a metal festival, so keep it like that ffs!
b) what the hell happened to day tickets!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going! I don't like Jay Z's music, but I'm willing to ride it out for Linkin Park.

I'm not too keen on HIM.. I think some of their songs are okay, but people say they are rubbish live.

I hope its not 'emo' music (I know that theres more to some bands than being what emos listen to). Like Paramore, Madina Lake, MCR.
I would love to see the likes so KoRn, Slipknot, but I know thats not going to happen, since everyone loves all this new music now.
...so In reality, Ild like it to be Incubus, Placebo etc there.

I've been into rock music since i was born, been to hundreds of gigs and been buying K! mag for about 12 years.

I just hate the arrogance some people show about other genres of music!
Just because jay z isn't packed full of guitars and riffs doesn't mean his music isnt good.

I myself loved the collaboration album between the two bands and i cannot wait to see them live here.

The Jay-Z/LP collaboration was terrible.
Not because I'm narrow minded, but because it was.
I listen to all types of music thanks, and just because I don't like one artist from one genre doesn;t mean I hate that genre.
