modlife isnt going to work for small bands! itl only work for huge bands who have zillions of fans! thats the only reason it worked for tom. and it just goes to show tom doesent have that much faith in his own music if he needs to find an alternative way to make money out of himself

it wouldnt be so bad if only part of the website was exclusive but most of it is.

I won letter of the week in a previous kerrang mag after a rant about this cunt, and i feel another rant is long overdue.
The man is a clown, nobody cares about AvA, and i still stand by what i said in my letter, this man needs to curb is badly over inflated ego and realise that nobody gives a rats right bollock about this shit band and all that utter shit about nasa and space and modlife, how does he expect to be taken seriously when he ran about naked in blink 182 videos singing about fucking moms dogs and dads in the ass and then he breaks up blink and then comes back like some sort of saviour? give me a bastard break.
people will always wanna hear blink songs and its just like charlie simpson from fightstar, he wont ever shake that " him from busted tag " just the same as delonge wont shake the " him from blink 182 " tag.

no body knows who split blink up, there were three members in that band, yet tom gets all the abuse.
he has moved on and has changed his direction in music, you may not like it, but why write so much abuse about him.
say if you liked a band so much, they split up, then lets say your favourite member makes a new band, and makes a different style of music, will you still listen and support him?

Ava is his daughter's name, and I'm pretty sure he said in an interview that the name 'AVA' for his band has something to do with her. :)

I mean, things never sort themselves out if people stop communicating and considering Tom has been all about spreading messages and bringing people together with AVA's music, it would seem pretty self-defeating if he's still out of contact with those guys.

A small band with a dedicated fanbase gets 500 users to sign up for their premium... and charge 40 pound a year (the av rate now)... 500 x 40 =£20000... How is that not going to benefit a SMALL band...
Why do you think it is videos?
The bands have webcams where they chat live, modblast is a forum, there will be Instant Messaging with bands, Live concerts to view for Premium members...
Then there is access to tickests first, Meet n Greets for Premium members, then the podcasts, blogs etc...
So buy 4 albums a year or that???

I Think that the best thing about Blink breaking up is AVA ( Angels and Airwaves). I think that AVA really rite about songs that metter, not total Bullshit ! I LOVE ava till death =) ;
Plus KERRANG! come on play something else that always the same thing i whant to see the Audition Video for once! Come on :D
Modlife is amazing guys, your missing out on loads, and its worth $6.95 a month =]
Not only has Modlife given me the oppurtunity to meet the band, I can talk to them, watch them on Modblast and Modcam =]
there is loads of more features that are hellar cool. Modlife is soo rad.
And eventually Tom plans to be able to make his Music free =]
