Joel's a much better guy for the part, Pete Wentz is just there to show off his looks, Joel would make the part more believable and heartfelt anyway, Joel's a more genuine and awesome dude, I'm sure he'd be a better actor by far anyway!

I think Joel Madden has the right to be in the film. He has that look about him, he looks emo but not too emo.

Maybe a couple months back I'd have said Pete Wentz, but honestly Wentz has lost the look about him and well, just doesnt suit the whole role of 'emo frontman' on a movie, and unfortunately I dont think he can act. Sorry Wentz.

Joel has the whole personality and he can keep things alive, he has the mindset and physical appearance to keep us all interested, Joel has prospects to be an actor and just everything about him suits the role of this future movie.

Well everyone seems to be in love with Pete Wentz so no doubt everyone want to see him on the big screen and to be fair he is the most emo out of the two. and good charlotte are not as emo as fall out boy
and if you saw pete wenz you would think emo
but if you saw joel madden you wouldnt think that

Considering neither of them are "emo." I doubt I'd like to see either of them take up the role as an emo frontman. If you want emo, then why not pick Guy Picciotto or Jim Adkins. Some actual Emo Musicians, not a bunch of pop-rock singers who whine about their imaginary teen angst.

I'd much rather see Joel on the big screen again. He's had much more experience than Pete Wentz and was supposed to have the leading role in a movie called 'Valley of the Damned,' back in 2006. I'd also definitely prefer to hear Good Charlotte blasting out the soundtrack than Fall Out Boy.
But, EMO frontman? It's gotta be Pete.

Diablo is in a bit of a pickle...

...so here's what I'm thinking:
Joel...a lot of emotions, mainly angry at his peers for not accepting him..boo hoo. Happy now? Who knows. I sure hope so.
Pete...his emotions are mainly consistent of money???? but very cute and very "emo".
Movie will do well with either. Pete's the better actor for sure, but may be greedier than Joel, so the predicament is yours, Diablo.

Pete Wentz for sure.. Joel Madden doesn't exactly have the 'emo' look and Pete does moreso. Also FOB's music generally tends to fit into the 'emo' genre while GC's doesn't. People would understand the role more if Pete played it in my opinion.

Neiter should get it, theyre both crap. Pete Wentz was in an episode of One True Hill and his 'acting'... if you could call it acting, was awful. Joel Madden is just soooo irritating but he has more experience of Hollywood through his women.
