The Foo Fighters were celebrating yesterday evening when they picked-up two awards at the Brit Awards ceremony which took place at London's Earls Court last night.
Dave Grohl and co picked up the gong for Best International Album for their latest long player, Echoes Silence Patience And Grace.
"Thanks very much for award," said Grohl via video link. "It really is an honour to be recognised alongside the likes of Huey Lewis And The News, Culture Club, MC Hammer and Kula Shaker. These are all people who have won Brit Awards. I'm glad to see we've graduated to such lofty ranks. Sorry we couldn't be there, but we've just sold out [New York arena] Madison Square Garden."
The Foos also picked up the Best International Group award too. Brit rockers Muse lost out to reformed boy band Take That in the Best Live Act category.
The Brit Awards were hosted by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne with help from their children Jack and Kelly.
