System, Rage and Pearl Jam men team-up

Tracks from System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian, Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello and Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder will feature on a double-album, Body Of War: Songs That Inspired An Iraq War Veteran.

The album will be released in March through Sire / Warner Bros.

A documentary of the same name will be released later in the year, but no date has been confirmed.

And a documentary? I assume Michael Mooron will be involved.

Tom morello has a politics degree from harvard and his dad was a rebel in kenya fighting for independence and his great uncle was the president of kenya and serj tankian knows how bad war is because his family were affected by the armenian genocide, you idiot think before you speak fool!

i know for a fact that album is going to be a massive thing i mean were going to get an ablum by the 3 best rockers ever i cant wait for that album!!

Tom has a degree in sociology actually.
He is also a very talented guitarist, so are serj and eddie.
I think the fact that half the comments on this website are all " LOL THIS BAND SUX" is a bit pathetic. Grow up, or get in some mosh pits so someone can roundhouse some sense into you

Meh...this sounds absolutely brilliant!!! I love all 3 artists!!! Although...most collaberations and stuff these dont work out too great nd i wuldnt b surprised if this didnt. And the fact that its going to b a double album might mean a lot of filler...but I neva knock things till they get here nd it sounds great il more likely buy it XD

So, Hamish, I am an idiot? Why? Because the fact Morello went to an Ivy League college means he is able to prognosticate on all things political? Hey, the Unabomber went to Harvard too, and he shares many of the same political viewpoints as Morello, so we should hold him in the same esteem, right? What about Jesse Ventura?

And Serj? This the guy who loves ranting on how the US is a fascist nation. Newsflash pal, if it is, then how come yhe are still able to perform, make loads of money? Surely he would have been one of the first up against the wall, right?

I do think before I speak, and what I think is that these no-good liberal scumbags are once again raking in the cash, but as usual, justifying it by wrapping it in an activist flag. Fine, if you want to believe these guys know everything there is to know, that is your prerogative.

I guaruntee you these songs will not be against the soldiers, mayber the governments that sent them off to die, but not the soldiers, How could "all our men suck and should die over there" inspire any veteran? After all, the name of the CD is songs that inspired a iraq war veteran
