T in the Park

I've been the past two years and it great there are finally to alternative bands there, instead of the usual indie and dance pish! Enter Shikari and Lost Prophet were there last year, this year will be even better....and no Panic will not get bottled, coz its T in the Park. Anyone who has been will know what im saying. They will be welcomed like anyother band there, with warmth and enthusiasm. The crowd at T is like to other in the world! I can't wait!!!

What the fuck?! You lot are a bunch of arseholes! 'Panics the only good band', 'unexcited'? you're a bunch of cunts! Rage Against The Machine are one of the most intense, politically radical bands EVER!

Why don't y'all take your emo shit to fucking Download and gag on it!

The Prodigy and Feeder rock too! May well go to just see these 3 bands.

t in the park is basically a festival were all the artists off the now that'd what I call music cds my opinion is that ratm are too heavy for t in the park they should be playing download or reading/Leeds. But well done for t in the park for getting them, I'd wudnt advise tacking your children on a day out on that Saturday, they're is going to be a load of metal heads and pits!

Rage against the machine, one of the most politically influential bands who make some of the most meaningful music you've ever heard are headlining and you idiots are talking about sell-out emo crap bands with no talent like panic at the fucking disco?

I'd sell my liver to go this gig just to see rage. They should be playing download, thats where real musicians play.

But neverless, it's great to see Rage back in the UK once more!

RATM are the best live band I have ever seen - they are still the daddys and piss all over Panic! and that pop-punk/ rehashed nu-metal crap.
Lets hope they play leeds/reading but they should be a Download

Maybe...

Maybe Rage.. are just testing Britain out, to see how much of a reaction there will be and if it's worth a tour around Britain.

The tickets were all sold in a matter of minutes...Like I said to my parents (who think that The Verve were the fucking sellers! Bullshit!): 'RATM isn't a band, it's a fucking movement!'

RATM rule, glad to have these guys back together.

And I'll say it again to all you emo, nay-saying, PATD/Sum 41 worshippers: FUCK YOU!

RATM

Rage are one of the most influencial hard rock bands of the 90's, having them back is amazing!!

They're still strongly rumoured to play Reading and Leeds Festivals as they are the organisers favourite band and hes been trying to get them to play for ages, just because theyre playing 'T' doesnt mean the chances of them doing it are reduced as 'T' is 1: in July (a whole month before Reading+leeds) and 2: its just Scotland, So missing out England would be a travesty, and yes i know why not Ireland and Wales too...but im sure theyll get there eventually too! ;)

im not too overly excited about the line up this year. i no 'phonics and biffy are playing but it could be better. i was really excited about the line up being revealed but afterwards i decided not to go! i no....outragous! lol
also, just to say to David Monsey, what the hell are you complaining about?? "it's just scotland" do you know how many bands scottish people have to miss out on because they decide to ignore us and only go to england and wales?!?! also the same for ireland i bet.

Obviously all you people moaning about the line up only like Metal and have no variety in your lives. The line up is excellent, a great variety of acts. I can't wait to see Rage, Prodigy, Chemical Bros, Aphex Twin, Stereophonics, Verve, Interpol, REM etc.

You moaning minnies will just have to go to Download instead.

Why are people moaning about it being in Scotland. I am going and live in Birmingham.

Missed them at the legendary Glasgow Barrowlands gig of 93 where the whole audience drowned out the band with "F*ck you I wont do what you tell me!" Also They played the First T in the Park back in 94 with Cypress Hill that year too. So for all the bitter English or sad Emo kids who say Rage are too heavy for T in the Park, Were they also back in 94? LMAO I have two weekend with camping tickets, BRING ON THE RAGE!!!!!

i agree with genghis tron - panic won't have problems with bottlers - MCR didn't! people up here just go to one of the many other stages if a band they dont like is on! i've got tickets again and i'm sure of the 180 bands that will be playing that i will find something that I like. T has a bit of EVERYTHING - it aint pigeonholed into 1 genre! was hoping for muse but oh well!

For all you doubters out there complaining about why arent RATM playing at a 'better' festival...this is a 15th anniversary of a gig they did back in 1994 when they headlined the first ever T in the Park festival. So there you have it. Reason.

I really hope i have the money to go again coz i would hate to miss titp this year. its about time metal comes back to T, would also love to show my gay indie mates a fucking mosh pit!! Yass!!
RATM were one of my fav bands when i was a pre-teen, so im stoked. I saw The Who at T two years ago, who i dont like but it was amazing to say i saw such a legendary band. The same goes for RATM, even if you dont like them, being able to witness such important, influencial and legendary bands should be considered an opportunity of a lifetime. Even if ur 14 and love Panic.
